This is very disconcerting. If Trump wins Ukraine will fall, and Putin can take as much land as he wants. Trump will hand it over, along with some of our allies. He has no loyalty and respects no treaties. Ukraine having to battle North Korea as well will be even harder for their already exhausted troops.

I am hopeful that the polls are way off. This country has been run by trump's fear mongering for nine years and I will not give up. Accountability must happen.

This is bad news. Probably worse news for any of the NK soldiers who find themselves on a front line.

This is not a dog and pony show which is what they specialize in ("special forces" lol). No duck walk, marching sync contests in battle. Most have probably fired less than 100 rounds in their life because they can't afford the bullets. It will not end well for them against hardened Ukrainian soldiers who are fighting for something they believe in.

I agree, I have been watching Jake Broe who lives in US but is a Ukrainian hero. He started a fund that tried to raise $15,000 for needed used pickups and vans also motorcycles. These smaller and faster means of distributing meds, ambulance services and other quickly needed things. Our shipments of war transportations, it turns out are all giant transports. The Ukrainian solders asked for these a doctor was walking alone to frontlines, well he got killed during all this but Jake got $1,000,000 and neighboring countries have fixed up and modified many vehicles. It was very heartwarming Russia calls the new recruits MEAT ATTACKS because they are just sending untrained, and un equipped meat that Ukraine mows down since so many wave the white flag then snitch what they know and the next wave comes. This has been repeated all summer and Russia has lost ground. Russia is the enemy of all free countries!

It amazes me the myths people tell themselves. Firstly, under international law, Russia is free to accept the assistance of allied nations to expel foreign invaders. Second, the North Korean military, particularly its special forces contingent, is no paper tiger, as the Ukrainians will soon discover. Already, the Ukrainians have been expelled from 45% of Kursk as Russian troops advance on all fronts. The war is over for Ukraine and I am tired of seeing my tax dollars wasted on a war that could have been avoided. Good grief, how many tens of billions more will be enough?

There are, tragically, millions of people in this country who are willing to turn OUR country over to the rulers of Russia. It is how they vote.

For my part the answer is: as much as it takes to get russians out of Ukraine. Putin can't just wander into a sovereign country and land-grab. Fork him and his allied nations with a spoon. I'm 1000% on Ukrainian side. And I'm still not convinced North Korea can do much of anything, anywhere. But I guess we'll all find out soon enough.

Imagine a scenario where more than half these innocent North Korean men decide to defect and surrender to the freedom seeking Ukrainians and the whole brigade turns on Kim and the nations people then oust him and turn to freedom and democracy for their country. It could happen…a girl can dream.

So true. And, wow! Your articulation of what I've also been praying for; that it'll be the great and strong women of this country who will save us...very well said! Thanks for sharing.

The "meaningful cause" of any war is never shared by any of the innocents who are mutilated and die in them.

There is no reason whatsoever for war of any sort to exist in our contemporary world and the fact it does is a testament to the madness that has afflicted a strain of men among us who appear unable or worse, unwilling to accept the concept of living in peace.

Great sentiment. I, for one, agree on an existential level. I wish russia had not invaded Ukraine to begin with. I wish we had not invaded Afghanistan or Iraq or Vietnam. I wish hitler would have stayed in Germany. Peace sells! But who's buying?

It isn't all men but more than enough who have been entrapped by both social lies and personal fear that they feel impelled to visit their damaged psyches on those around them. Our society has been molded by men of this sort to the degree that unfortunately we accept the social inequities they have woven into our social fabric.

Women who in general have been much more affected by this societal behavior are the only ones who can save us from ourselves which is probably why so many men remain opposed to Ms Harris candidacy.

We can only hope that in the privacy of the voting booth women exercise their right to vote in favor of themselves and their children, especially their daughters.
