While the American public fixates on the quotable soundbites from Trump's wild speeches, the very real and very dangerous threats get ignored. I break down Trump's recent over-the-top antics, and explain why they serve as a distraction from his true agenda:

Substack is the home for great culture
I'm watching MSNBC and seeing Alex Wagner interviewing some T**** supporters in a red part of Pennsylvania, and trying not to throw up at the sheer stupidity on display. I was especially saddened to see the young immigrants who show their lack of empathy to other immigrants: cruelty built on the words of the orange goon. They are a real disappointment: they simply do not understand what the United States stands for; now they're here, they don't want anyone else in. Saddening, maddening, leaving me with disgust that there are that many boneheads in PA.
Trump’s antics wouldn’t be a distraction and maybe he’d stop if reporters and news services would do their job and report what they see and stop sanewashing.
