“She chose the $6 million dollars she makes a year over the moral legacy of six million murdered Jews. “ - Best line in the article. Should have been the lead head line.

Perhaps she didn’t need to be convinced that it was a choice of ethics?

Steve, I couldn’t agree with you more. The hypocrisy is infinite, and it just proves how ambitious individuals will use a good cause to advance their careers, and abandon all principles as soon as other opportunities present themselves.

These people are pure capitalists; all they see is green. Look at all the billionaires and politicians who have denounced Trump and his demonic policies, only to coalesce behind him when his power is secured.

Sadly, her bet may pay off. Biden’s popularity is in the toilet and approaching the sewer system. Muslims have abandoned him. African American males are moving towards RFK Jr., and we still have two other spoilers in Stein and West. Not to mention, No labels. They only certainty is nothing is certain.

I’m starting to get very worried since Trump has an entire ecosystem carrying his water, and now Musk with X, and some Mexican billionaire friend of Kushner has bought Univision, and changing their programming to be pro-Trump.

I’m truly perplexed how people are so clueless and ambivalent about how our economy and government operates. Good times; Not!!!

Technology is changing our lives in a flash and the media when left in the wrong hands can be the end of democracy as we know it.

Be Afraid, be very.......

Have hope - Reproductive freedom is the issue that is overwhelmingly bringing people to the polls.

I hope so, but according to a newly released polls by the NYT’s, more people care about the economy than they do abortion or democracy.

And even though we’re doing better than the rest of the world based on inflation and unemployment no one seems to care.

Britain’s economy is tanking, inflation in Argentina (143%), just put a Trump like fascist into power, yet, Americans incredibly believe that our economy was better under Trump. We just had a quarter over 4% growth for the first time since 2018, when Trump passed his tax cut (sugar high); yet people are still complaining.

I’m very concerned!

Yeah, milk went up 30 cents per gallon. I'm gonna vote to end democracy. WTF are people thinking?! Are people thinking?

They're being lied to non-stop. Republicans are very good at messaging. They all get their talking points and spew them consistently. It's really easy if you have no scruples.

I guess the saying goes something like this: “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Money can buy people’s soul and corrupt them absolutely. Society gives people credibility based on their wealth. Greed is after all one of the 7 deadly sins in the world. Look at the effect it has on the morals , lack of sincerity and honesty of our politicians. Donors control our politicians. Alex Jones, Steven Bannon and others sell out their country for money. So why not Linda Yaccarino?

For years I've said that all federal campaigns should be funded solely by federal taxes. Take the money out of politics and we will all be so much better off. Romney once said, "Corporations are people too." No, they are not.

I agree with you Jerry. Donor money out and no personal money to avoid an unfair advantage to a wealthy candidate. This way you don’t have to be a millionaire to run. And each candidate to qualify must participate in all debates.

Steve, thank you for this article. I perused the craven "X news" article when it came out last week and literally had to stop so I could regurgitate the stench I smelled. Your article is so much more succinct , truthful, and to the point.

CEO Linda is acting normally, for she feels feafful and threatened. Fear comes from being kept out of any group. She feels she's been told she's not as good as some group and wants to eliminate that group. We can' t know why she especially feels threatened while others do not, but it is the truth that she does, even if for some cockamamie reason. Many others feel like her, so we should think about why they too, hate the group which will not allow her -or them- in it..Let's analyze it right now:

When a religion begins, what does it do? I'm talking ANY religion now.. Well, when one starts, it must have a reason to start, obviously. Whole groups can't start it, so it starts with one person.Let's say it starts out of some person's need to protect themselves from something, and that person invents a God that will protect ONLY them, but then that person convinces others to believe in their God. Voila! You have a religion! That religion naturally says all those not believing in it are damned for not believing in it.

In ancient times, we had paganism, born from ways to explain our fears of existence.

Now, since Sartre, the truly educated people know we have only ourselves to blame for our actions and all fantasies of gods are only for juveniles.

Religion is an evil thing now, because it can cause war to some measure, just as can a lack of education in politics, or lack of knowledge in economics, or the natural greed of man.,

God has been dead since Neitzhe said so, along with Sartre. The Uneducated who believe in

gods have sometimes specifically caused wars. All religions help cause wars The believers of some particular set of beliefs in supernatural gods have dark suspicion of all who do not share their precious religion. Religion separates whole groups from other groups.

All religions must cease

Thanks Steve. Should she resign? Doesn't matter. She's toast either way. I think Musk is some kind of idiot savant. Superb at one thing, in his case science. Really terrible at everything else. X is very quickly heading down the business toilet and I could not be happier. Look at the damage this one incident has caused. Some guy writes an antisemitic sentence or two, picked up and supported by Musk, and many millions of people read the original post because they follow Musk on X (Previously known as Twitter). The original tweet should never have made it onto X in the first place. This media business and all like it are publishers. This is what they do, publish just like any other publisher, and the laws and customers of publishers should be followed by these media companies.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage (NYC) has an exhibit explaining how the Danish people saved so many of their Jewish fellow citizens from the Nazis. It’s a study in character. No need to say how this compares to the antisemitism we see today in the US.

The soul of America is being sold out one million or one billion at a time. Antisemitism may well be the precursor to increased anti-Black, anti-Immigrant, anti-Asian and anti-LGBTQ+ communities. As a gentile who has had close Jewish friends throughout my adult life and studied some Judaism during Seminary graduate study, I continue to be fully perplexed by the hate. Many of those xenophobic WHITE haters may well claim to be "Christian". Their hatred, their judgmentalism and their apostacy negate their Christian claim. Those very "Christians" seem to forget the fact Christian Scripture is founded upon Hebrew Scripture. The Jews do not need the Christian Bible. The Christians do in fact need the Hebrew Bible. The moneyed among us assert themselves as the arbiters of the Christian Faith. They more realistically represent the evil against which Christians are warned.

It’s interesting how fundamental principles of leadership, even horrible leadership as is the case here, don’t change. All organizations reflect the leadership principles of the person at the top. Yaccarino is simply reflecting the principles of the individual that hired her- Elon Musk. “Birds of a feather flock together “, and these two “birds”are the same- devoid of even a scintilla of decency, kindness, and integrity. The only thing that can be said about them is now there is no question as to who Musk and his lackey Yaccarino are as people. They represent the worst of us. We all need to condemn their lack on morals and stay completely away from any Musk owned business.
