And even if we make more money than people who live in rural America, the cost of living is very expensive in urban areas; rent alone could cost upwards of 55-60% of a paycheck. Additionally, when republicans use the phrase, “small town values,” it’s condescending; as though small towns don’t have crime, drug issues, racism, corruption, etc...it’s disturbing.
