The greasy pole of politics
PLUS: Donald Trump’s terrifying plans if he wins the 2024 election (video commentary)
Lauren Boebert is a member of the United States Congress, a professional victim and prominent local arrestee in her rural community. She wants to make sure you know who she is. You do, right?
She’s the trashy extremist from Colorado sent by the voters of her district to represent 800,000 people in Washington, DC, on matters of great consequence, including war, peace, prosperity, and liberty. When she’s not working to end American democracy the classless lady, representing Colorado's 3rd congressional district, apparently enjoys musical theater, and so it came to be that she found herself seated in Denver’s Buell Theater. Video footage caught her hand clutching and massaging her date’s penis, his hand clawing at her congressional right boob, wildly seat dancing and vaping with a pregnant woman sitting directly behind her:
Who knew theater security cams could paint such a vivid picture? Lauren Boebert didn’t, and now you know a bit more about her. In the end, she is very enthusiastic about “Beetlejuice,” and there is no question that when she gave the middle finger to security as she was being removed from the audience for being unable to control herself for two consecutive hours at age 36, she was sending all of us a message.
Perhaps Lauren Boebert was reeling that night because she had received word that Corey Lewandowski’s mistress, Kristi Noem, the Governor of South Dakota, who once presented Trump with a replica of Mount Rushmore with Trump’s giant orange head, was surging into consideration as MAGA vice presidential material.

Noem was eminently qualified. She loved Jesus, Trump and fake tanning with equal fervor. There is great competition and enmity between the MAGA ladies. Lauren Boebert hasn’t particularly enjoyed watching MTG step out and ahead as Kevin McCarthy’s key lieutenant. Maybe the thought of South Dakota Palin-rising was too much, or the lack of attention by MAGA heartthrob and wack job Lewandowski was too much. Who knows? Who can know? This much is for sure: when Lauren Boebert blatantly lied about vaping — while vaping on camera — it wasn’t her fault. It was ours. Why is someone like this in Congress?
Juxtapose the comportment of Lauren Boebert with Mitt Romney, who spent his nights of service in Washington, DC, alone, isolated, pouring over books, and trying to do his best to do his duty, as captured in this McKay Coppins’ excerpt from his upcoming book, “Romney: A Reckoning:”
As House Democrats pursued their impeachment case against the president, Romney carefully studied his constitutional role in the imminent Senate trial. He read and reread Alexander Hamilton’s treatise on impeachment, “Federalist No. 65.” He pored over the work of constitutional scholars and reviewed historical definitions of “high crimes and misdemeanors.” His understanding was that once the House impeached a president, senators were called on to set aside their partisan passions and act as impartial jurors.
Nobody wants to live in a puritanical state where sin is punished as crime, but neither can we live in a society where there are no standards and expectations around conduct or character. When the lowest and most unworthy people find the greasy pole of politics to be their natural home and the ecology where they can best thrive, the nation is in trouble. Big trouble.
Lauren Boebert nearly lost her last election. Thankfully, her opponent is running again. His name is Adam Frisch, whom I will be featuring on The Warning podcast in a few weeks. Every American has a stake in seeing this imbecile removed from political power as we do in the careers of Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz. These people are unfit vandals who are trying to wreck our society. Enough.
In my latest video commentary, I discuss how Donald Trump has rejected the legitimacy of elections, and how he plans to tear this country apart if he wins in 2024:
Shana Tova to all of those who celebrate! Wishing you a happy Rosh Hashanah filled with happiness, health and sweetness.
Just a couple of things:
She can dress up in gold lamé with her boobs hanging out so far she has to yank up her (Body Tape, Fearless....someone needs to educate her if she insists on dressing like that), and she still hack and a couth less, ill mannered an ugly person with no consideration for anyone other than her despicable self.
I am surprised to read Mitt Romney's quote, “Josh Hawley is one of the smartest people in the Senate, if not the smartest, and Ted Cruz could give him a run for his money.” Perhaps diabolical is a better word to describe them both.
And I am thrilled for Kristen Welker to take the seat of the venerable Tim Russert, a chair no one, absolutely no one, full stop, has filled with an appropriate gravitas to date. It has been impossible to watch.
I could not be more disappointed that her first guest is a twice impeached teller of 35,000 lies accused felon facing 91, and counting, criminal charges for a variety of crimes.
WHY IS NBC GIVING HIM ANOTHER PLATFORM???????? He has had Hannity, Carlson, Kelly - this week!!!! - has his own social media, lawyers on every talk show, and now NBC is crowning him as her inaugural (irony cannot be ignored) guest??? He commands attention, bombastically commandeers the interview and repeats his greatest hits. We need to see this again???? Why??? I will not watch. Please share any lowlights, or highlights should any appear, with us after the broadcast.
I’m relieved that I saw the Boebert groping video yesterday so I didn’t have to watch it with my morning coffee. Too bad Patti Lupone wasn’t performing. She would have called her out from the stage. Ultimately, in demeaning herself in public, the Congresswoman from Colorado demeans her office, the House of Representatives, & our country. Go Frisch!
