Please keep this format, on camera is your forte. The newsletter is great but this is so much better because we need to hear your passion and surety. I just resubscribed because of this video. Thank you.

Why did take so long for Merrick Garland to indict Trump? And why not for insurrection?

Why isn’t Steve Bannon not serving time, the appeal process should not take this long?

Why is Aileen Canon still a judge? Why was she allowed to hear the documents case, especially after the rebuke she got from the appellate court on the last Trump case?

This WAPO article discusses the torturous pace of DOJ's inquiry into Trump:

Re Cannon, Congress would have to impeach her, no? She was one of the last unqualified imbeciles foisted upon us by McConnell when he still had the power to do so.

TFG pardoned Bannon his last day in the White House.

When I’m wrong, I’m wrong and stand corrected. Thank you for the clarification

You're welcome! To be fair, there's been so much $#!+ splattered against the wall with TFG and his many associations with criminals, including himself, it's kind of hard to keep track of all of it.

I incessantly hear criticism (justified) of Trump, but precious little of almost half of the American populace who approve of him. Perhaps you should take upon yourself the role of the “bad cop”: Lambast the American public for their failure to take their citizenship seriously: Educate yourself on the workings of government! Read real news! Care about those other than yourself, family, and friends! (I think I made my point.)

Thanks for that link. I need to start making calls.

Thank you! You described here the need to wage a brutal campaign. My pastor and I think it would be appropriate to make a copy of his mugshot with mash potatoes on his head and face, commemorating an unforgettable moment.

I really like this interactive format. Thanks for taking the time, Steve.

Even Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) said Trump didn’t do anything about the border when he had a GOP majority of House and Senate. This gives me hope for a Biden win. Let the GOP cannibalize itself.

Are you opposed to Biden's being the Democratic nominee for any reason other than his age? You say the majority of Americans don't want Trump or Biden to run, but millions of Americans voted twice for a narcissistic con man. They're sentience is dubious to say the least, and in this case the least said is best.

Steve saying Biden is 'sane' and 'he is a better president than TFG' seems, to me, to leave out that President Biden is mid-stride in turning this country around from the middle out and the bottom up. If we fail to speak about Biden with higher praise than Steve does in this video, we feed the apathy Steve has warned about. We can throw TFG and MAGA a bowing ball (many), but Biden's accomplishments should be held in high esteem and amplified, too.

I agree 100 percent. I want us to shout Biden's praise from the rooftops. But I am curious about where Steve is coming from: Is he just worried about the negative public perception of Biden's age, or is it more than that? Does Steve think with so much at stake, Biden should step aside BECAUSE of the widespread irrationality regarding his age and failure to recognize what a good job the President has done?

Steve, on today's video, said something like, "Trump is a good communicator; Biden is not." Biden has excelled for decades DESPITE a speech impediment. That is how GOOD he is, and not the other way around. President Biden does not have the New Jersey tough-guy slang or vulgarity that the MSM thrives on, and the social media algorithms amplify. Biden, as you know, is a master of diplomacy and legislation, and day after, without drama, gets the job of POTUS done (better than anyone else would be capable of, given the current challenges.) Any other person in Biden's shoes would be the target of MAGA misinformation fueled by those who only want power. There is not much else to go after Biden with than his age because he is so damn good!

Steve has never been pro-Biden, as far as I can tell. He was a Republican not so long ago. I feel he should keep up his war against MAGA as a priority, rather than trying to be a campaign strategist for the Democrats. Good conversation. Thanks.

I’m not happy about a Biden-Trump rematch. But here we are. Biden should have been upfront about being a one-term president. The Democratic Party wasted time (it had since the last election!) by not lining up candidates to run in a primary. The Dems are too passive imho.

You're entitled to whatever you hold dear, but there's a lot to object to about Biden by people as fair-minded as you are. Here are cogent criticisms: https://stepasidejoe.org. Instead of pressing our views on each other, better to be helping each other to think straight.

A question for you, Steve, is what you think about the critiques from Roots Action. I worry about Biden not drumming up enthusiasm from grass roots, which was so vital to his getting elected and to down ballot candidates who need presidential coattails. I question Biden's forcing us to accept a candidacy that's as weak as his is. That is not noble.

There are 9 months until the election. Primaries aren't even close to done, although we know who the nominee will be for each. There is such a thing as information and election fatigue. I'd encourage a little patience; not everything related to the election has to be done, nor should it, today. I wish neither of them were running, but Biden's weaknesses pale in comparison to the ever dangerous TFG. Take a breath.

Here is a quote from your 'Step Aside Joe' link you posted: "Biden’s policies have failed to seriously address health care, corporate price-gouging, voting rights, skyrocketing college tuition, and bloated military spending that diverts funds away from pressing human and environmental needs." Biden is just three years into his presidency and he is strongly addressing almost everything written here: the info you posted is NOT TRUE!!

Schwarzenegger would be great but ineligible. For her perspective, Marianne Williamson would have been wonderful -- although there's a question from her having no government background. But, I do have someone wonderful. It's Tim Shriver, JFK's nephew, who doesn't have political ambitions but maybe we could draft. I believe that Dean Phillips on the ballot has made Biden a stronger candidate, both in his own approach to messaging, and in the public eye. I don't think this weakened Biden's campaign at all, and now no one can say that they were not given a choice. (The choice could have been a stronger candidate, but Phillips happens to be the only one that stepped forward.)

I’ve heard so many pundits saying how tough and angry Biden sounded tonight at his press conference. Compared to Trump’s loud and boisterous speaking style-that many people like-Biden looks and sounds wimpy. Steve is correct. Biden and his campaign need to hit Trump hard every day. Maybe show clips of all Trump’s gaffes and confusion and stupidity. “No one has never heard the term supply change.” He didn’t even get the term right.

Steve, do you think Biden’s campaign team have the guts and ice in veins required to go low as needed (God help us) to keep Trump off kilter? To be able to really get in his head and embarrass him, etc?
