The people that would vote for RFK jr. have to register as either interplanetary aliens or non compos mentis as their party affiliation

I like your humor Eric. We will know whether we should laugh or cry in November,

We should all cry for our lost generations that can’t parse fact from fiction.

Isnt that what it is all about? To cut President Bidens vote. I heard kennedy on some broadcast or interview saying Democracy is not good government. Where are these poliiticians coming from? Are they mentaly challenged?

Another comment please; if Trump gets foreign money for debt it should be on condition he drops out of race. Can NY DA refuse foreign money? Democracy is devouring itself. The Constitution was written to that days world and needs amendments. Sadly its only as good as SCOTUS chooses to honor it. Sorry i can go on and on.

Sandra: If RFK Jr. said, "Democracy is not good government" then when you argue with Trump fans just ask them what form of government is better? After dictators and kings are proffered and disposed of you might be able to get them to agree that the details in how a democracy is structured will either result in good government or bad government. Then ask them to suggest ways (reforms) in which the rules of democratic government can lead to good government.

Well Democracy certainly worked well for the Kennedys. This guy doesnt have it. He’s a wannaby. Kennedy family has disowned him. The problem is the Constitution periodically needed amended to the times. Just like the right to bare arms. Just not todays arms.

No person facing four criminal trials ( not accusations) trials ; should or could be running for President. Anyone should lknow that. Dont talk to me about our fourfathers then have me watch this corrupt Trump who has cheated in everyway possible play our justice system day after day and be excused by SCOTUS in the name of the Constitution and Democracy. Common sense dictates the ineligibility of such an evil person. What would our Four fathers do? They would stop the demise of that which they held so dearly. Preserving the Constitution and the freedom for which it was written.

I am talking to family members who might be inclined to vote for Trump. It is a good start and I may convince them to vote for Biden. As one of my old bosses used to say about responding to a crisis — all hands on deck.

Every politician who doesn’t endorse Biden has endorsed Trump. Period. History will remember.

A vote for anyone other than Joe Biden is a vote for Trump.

Even Kennedy family members have distanced themselves from RFK Jr, who granted is no Ralf Nader, yet may be still a distraction to some misinformed voters. And any 3rd party candidates who tend to identify more with center to left Democrats or Independents and then vote as such will take votes away from President Joe Biden. In a close race taken as a group with other minority parties together could be a spoiler.

Once a person breaks there Oath Of Office how can they swrn in as the keeper of that same oath. Can Chief Justice be so naive or would Trump just boldly “take control” and dismiss being sworn in. Then what do they do? If Trump cant be stopped now he never will be.

Good point. The handwriting is on the wall in this righty weighted Supreme Court, and in lower courts also. What makes these righty judges think they can put party affiliation or demagog worship above their solemn sworn oath to uphold the rule of law? Yet we see them doing just that time and again. That Judge Cannon down in Florida is arguably the worst. But not to be outdone with malfeasance or corruption by the likes of Clarence Thomas. It makes me sick to think where this all leads.

Here is a question for Steve: Do you think this country needs a strong third party?

I am not talking this election, but the future. I am personally done with Republicans and would never vote for one ever. You can see the absolute garbage we have in North Carolina to understand my point.

But I think a third party that could compete eventually might be good. For most people, it is just one of two choices now.

Once Biden is safely back in for 24-28, I would think some of the GOP who are fed up and shut out by the total MAGA/Johnson sellout would want to build something to take its place and actually accomplish things for the country and world again. Obviously Cheney, Kinzinger, Romney if he wants- but maybe also Gonzales, Burr, Beutler, Lankford, Cassidy, Kasich, Murkowski? We need a viable party to replace the GOP because even if Trump loses and Dems control Congress, his base is the problem now. He turned over the rock they were under and they won't go back. The GOP is over, but I think many in the center right would be happy to return to democratic consideration of policy, debate, persuasion under the Bill of Rights/Constitution and based on actual facts. Actual work to benefit the American people vs obstructionism.

I had thought someone like Chris Sununu would be good. I have listened to him and like him. But I was extremely disappointed by his endorsement of Trump. He lost me on that.

Agree, I'm surprised Pence finally stood up not to endorse him while Sununu didn't.

Yes to all of this.
