“Our call that night was to say, Are you ok”.

This was McDaniel’s response to the question about the night that she and trump made a call to try and pressure Michigan election officials.

Yeah, sure, trump is known for calling around to see if people are ok.

What a bold faced liar. And although Welker

did a fairly good job, she did not press on that response …. a huge error as that was easy to call out as a smelly baby’s diaper.

I’m so glad this just came in because I just finished watching MTP which I record weekly. What a disgrace, I am not on twitter x or any other social media platform so you’re the one to read my rant, because nbc news doesn’t even have a complaint phone number I could find.

Think about what this sycophantic, oportunistic, pathetic desperate woman has done in last 7 years: Trump didn’t like her using Romney in her name so she didn’t, he degraded women almost daily and she called it fake news, he stole top secret intelligence and looked away, convicted of rape and said NYC jury, indicted and we all witnessed an insurrection and she smiles and falls in line. And like every other Republican, the moment he is gone using her up, sucking her dry, taking every grain of decency from her, he throws her away like a used piece of shit.

And now NBC, a struggling new host of meet the press (who lost any credibility today) an entire 100 year old news team with names like Sarnoff, RCA, Huntley, Brinkley and scores of others has to be part of this clown car called a news department, the second oldest broadcast news network on earth.

Disgraceful

Now they’ve put so many good journalists on the spot: what do Rachel maddow, Mika B, Joe Scarborough and a half dozen others do? Speak the truth or they too will have to swollow the shit and smile.

How awful, and you thought CNN was bad??

Ronna McDaniel actually said “I haven’t been able to talk to you about my concerns…”? She was RNC chair, if she was so interested in airing her concerns, she could have called a number of reporters who would have been more than happy to write/broadcast her “concerns.” Good grief!

“Wretched woman” about sums her up. No frills. Gets to the core, the essence, of who this depraved troglodyte is.

It would be interesting to know who were the other NBC people considering for employment on Ronna’s list? Such a pathetic result and choice. All form, NO substance.

Ronna-GO home!

Romney McDaniel committed a federal-election interference crime in Michigan. When will she face the legal consequences for her illegal actions? When?

I said in your earlier post that her appearance was a total sh*tshow and I haven't changed my view. I like how you dissected that all of that gaslighting piece by piece. I didn't at the time catch that she used the term "Democrat Party" and if I did, I would be yelling at the TV set. So is a so-called analyst at a legitimate news station allowed to use that pejorative? I'm hoping that someone at the station would school her on that. And making her call to the Michigan election officials sound like a welfare call was so much BS. There is a recording of that conversation. And after Welker held her feet to the fire about Biden's election being legitimate, she reluctantly danced around it then had to toss out that "there were problems" in places like Pennsylvania. To her credit, Welker fact-checked her, saying it was called the safest election in history. I'm guessing the brass at NBC watched that interview and are in a huddle on how to get this woman out of a $300K contract. They were actually going to pay this slimeball $300K? Just. Wow...

So much for its slogan, “NBC, the most trusted name in news.”

It's hard to find the words to express my dismay that MSNBC is currying favor with liars. I feel betrayed. I was loyal to that channel and they betrayed my trust. They must think their viewers are their puppets, willing to follow them no matter what. Sorry, MSNBC. Not this viewer.

Did Ronna Romney McDaniel ever have a good reputation? If so, was shilling for Trump worth sinking it?

I’m a proud member of The Warning community who wrote emails today to the president of MSNBC to protest this hire. And that was before I saw Meet the Press. What a despicable, seditious and dishonest person McDaniel is. I hope NBC reconsiders this hire. If they do it will be because of Steve Schmitt.

That was fabulous Steve!! One of your best commentaries yet!! "Baghdad-Bob level Bullshit" pretty much says it all. I don't think she will be back. Let's hope anyway!!! Keep up the great work. You are on a roll.

Just stinks that we have to put up with stupid diversions like this when we have so much important work to do like saving our Country!! But hey we know the Exec's at NBC and MSNBC aren't worrying about that right now. Arrrrgh. Stay strong dear friends!!!

I'm not sure I could bring myself to watch this interview, especially in light of Welker's trip to Wisconsin before the first GOP debate to break bread with Trump campaign hacks Chris LaCivita, Jason Miller, and Steven Cheung. Reporters also there with Kristen Welker: Dana Bash, Shane Goldmacher, Bob Costa, Fin Gomez, Dasha Burns, Rachel Scott, Rick Klein, Josh Dawsey, Rob Crilly, Mario Parker and David Chalian.

It was a despicable abdication of journalistic ethics at the altar of access by all reporters involved. That's undoubtedly how Welker's first "guest" on her first day hosting Meet The Press was Donald J. Trump. Tim Russert must be spinning in his grave as if on a spit. And Steve, while I appreciate your strident condemnation of the GOP, Ronna Romney McDaniel and NBC, please spare us any plaudits of Welker. She's still just a hack. And McDaniel is a crook.
