Today, my son and I are embarking on a cross-country drive to bring him back to school in New Hampshire. Our route is as follows: Santa Barbara to Mount Shasta, California Mount Shasta to Nelson, British Columbia Nelson to Fernie, British Columbia Fernie to West Glacier, Montana

Decades ago I crossed the country in a camper and it was one of my most memorable experiences. What made it so good was driving to lakes and rivers every night. I read the guide book. Sometimes it would be dark pulling in and then I woke up each morning in paradise. This country is soooo beautiful off the main roads.
The hope of the world, at this dangerous time, is that it gets soooooo awful that we flip to the good. It's either that or evil wins out.. Doing everything anyone can to weight things on the side of the good is what we all should be paying attention to.
