"What do you have to lose?"

Honestly, what do we have to lose, you ask? Everything, including our minds!

That said, this “new” slogan isn’t new. He used the same nonsensical slogan in 2016, and like his 2016 campaign, it’s all recycled and regurgitated garbage!…:)

Whatever happens to Springfield and worse, will happen across the country if trump wins. Nobody will be safe.

Mike, I’m thinking Springfield is his wet dream for the next Fort Sumpter. Let’s face it, he’s no longer running to “win”.

That seems to be the logical conclusion.

As I listened to Steve's presentation today, the past fascist dictators paraded through my mind. And, like Trump, none of them should have been taken seriously. Mussolini with his arrogant look and posture, Hitler with his Charlie Chaplain moustache trying to look powerful, Franco with his gaudy military dress, and now Trump with his silly wig and horrible fitting suits, should have been laughed off the political stage.

But a segment of every nation's population finds comfort, strength, and belonging in the fascist message. They have always come to a bad end. Trump will be no different. The worst bad political joke in American history has met its nemesis in the team of Harris/Walz.. Let us hope it ends with minimal violence.

The ridiculous claim that, "they're eating the dogs," is backfiring. Will this be the spark that ignites the end of Trumpist fascism? It may be.

One can only hope that Springfield, Ohio will become proud again if the assault on the Haitians and others does indeed backfire and the trump persona is annihilated under the weight of the Harris/Walz march to victory.

We tend to think of MAGA like the Alien living inside the poor guy’s stomach until it burst out at breakfast in the 1979 movie. But MAGA is not separate from us. It got to where it is because of Americans. We sent Lauren Boebert to the same place where John Quincy Adams served.

The Harris/Walz campaign could have a field day with that slogan.

We do have everything to lose and then some. If this comes to fruition then we are screwed forever I fear. There will be no ability to go back to have a democracy and common sense will be a rarity. I am so sick over this prospect.

The only thing we must lose, as a matter of the highest moral obligation any self-respecting American human being could embrace, is psychotic miscreant Donald Trump and the traitorous fascist movement he has created in honor of his foremost role model and mentor, Adolf Hitler.

I have nothing profound to say. If we don't do our best our descendants will live a hellscape. Save the USA don't vote for any Republicans until they come to their senses.

The current situation here in America may be unique. When other countries have fallen under the spell of a fascist or morally bankrupt demagogue, that nation was in a bad way economically, politically, or both. Things here are good! We have NO excuse. The rise of Trump is an impossible to understand, embarrassing stain on our nation. And it may take a long time for us to recover.

He used that slogan in 2016 when courting the African American vote ... Mr. Despicable ... I just want this election over with ..As Hillary said recently no one is safe if he wins. He turns on everyone. He will definitely hurt the blue states. He tried his best during the pandemic .. He wanted to deny the blue states much needed resources to save lives ..Him and his creepy son inlaw wanted to keep certain states from getting hospital supplies that the feds had.. Jarred said that is ours..

The guy who Chump compared to Martin Luther King, Jr. is in the news.

Mark Robinson, the controversial and socially conservative Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, made a series of inflammatory comments on a pornography website’s message board more than a decade ago, in which he referred to himself as a “black NAZI!” and expressed support for reinstating slavery, a CNN KFile investigation found.

This seems entirely fitting for a person who 1. Has questioned the Holocaust; and 2. Prefers the days when women could not vote.

I did not know about the desire for reinstating slavery. This is the same guy who Senator Thom Tillis said was a good guy.

Do Better, North Carolina!

Steve does an excellent job pulling this madness into focus. We get glimpses from time to time on the MSM......I watch CNN and it seems they often pull punches for one reason or another. Everyday I wait to hear something that will help to break the spell. Today it was the news about Mark Robinson. The MAGA fever is breaking......slowly.

I’m a bit surprised that there is a dearth of comments on the Connie Chung weed, after all Steve led off with it.

Connie Chung looks a little scary to me. Perhaps she is partaking in a bit of her namesake herself, as she toys with Erin.

“I hate Taylor Swift!” was his white flag surrender. He’s not doing what he needs to do because he doesn’t want to win. He is not well. Now it is all about staying out of jail. He has to “weave” a mental breakdown caused by the crazy people around him. Crazy, but not his fault, so no jail. He wants to be at Mar a Lago, under secret service protection.

I took note of Vance arriving in the VP slot. It was reported that Trump was convinced by his two sons, that did not seem real to me. These two privileged but dumski kids above all confidants? They are there for loyalty, not brilliance. Trump remained curiously quiet, not usual for him, not to mention HIS doing the choosing, thank you very much. Trump likes a passive loser for VP, for his own protection. Vance is more articulate and scheming than he is being given credit for. His outlandish pot stirring is quite intentional, calculated, not at all just wacky. He also is coldly sociopathic, now completely compliant to the hardest red right, and quite eager to command national attention daily. Trump is usually highly protective of the attention getting, critical of anyone trying to outshine him, but has allowed Vance to do so without even a pout. It is a stretch at this point for me to assert any conspiracy here, but I am watching the transgression. Mainly, alarmed by Trump's huge loss in the debate and his accelerating antics after, his continuing, desperational psychological unravelling, have the big boys behind the curtain on the right sent in a substitute just in case?

Good question. Seems to me if you are sent in or fall in love with him, you are his scapegoat. He keeps crazy scapegoats for every occasion. Blaming his close associates for causing diminished capacity could be queuing up in the wings. It doesn’t matter what anyone else is doing. He wants to play golf and use his followers to run the world. What oligarch wouldn’t?
