Trump-Vance: the most manifestly unfit presidential ticket ever

There are 100 days to go until the last votes are cast as the West Coast, Hawaiian and Alaskan polls close, and the American people wait for news of their collective judgment about our shared future. What will the choice be?  

For me, it is simple. America or Trump. It does not seem possible to wave the flag for a man who desecrated it by attacking reality and inciting an insurrection against the United States Constitution that would have prevented the transfer of power to the winner of a presidential election and destroyed the republic. The racial animus that surrounds Trump, the violence that teems around him, and the extremism that hangs thick all around him, plus the weirdos, fame-seekers, power hungry hustlers, lowlife political remoras and the indicted and convicted are all detestable. MAGA is an explicitly un-American movement led by a rapist and criminal. It is sustained by apathy and the deep fervor of a cult of malice, fused with American idiocy, that has brought us within range of the national suicide that Abraham Lincoln warned was our greatest threat. Trump is self harm, group harm, national harm and global harm all bundled into one fantastical package of incompetence, stupidity, thoughtlessness, meanness, ego and self-regard. He is a most appalling man, and the worst president in American history.

Usha didn’t look so happy at the convention. Apparently, she feels the same way about Trump that her fascist husband feels about “cat ladies.” The look on her face was deeply reminiscent of those on the faces of the western children Saddam gathered around him on international media as human shields. The hostage video never lies. Perhaps one day she’ll get some down time to reflect on how grateful she is for the chance to sit next to America’s version of Mussolini.

I’m pretty sure JD and Kristi Noem, another weirdo and a dog killer, are going to do a reality show on Newsmax, in which Kellyanne Conway drives them around, and they try to steal and kill people’s pets. She targets the dogs, and he goes for the cats.

Trump’s bearded Palin is off to a terrible start, and is a drag on Trump. Trump was bamboozled by Uday to pick a guy who will be remembered as the person who dethroned Sarah Palin as the 21st century’s worst VP pick.

JD’s fixation on women and how many children they have is all part of his unshakeable faith in blood and soil nationalism. This is all about Orbanism, and before that, it was a central plank of national socialism, which is a lot like the national conservatism JD champions. He believes that children strengthen the state. It’s a twisted philosophy.

The election must be about Trump and Vance. Together, they are the most manifestly unfit presidential ticket ever. It’s not even close. They are equally deranged, extreme, nutty, violent, fraudulent and criminal.  It is truly incredible. Despicable doesn’t begin to describe it.

In 100 days, it is time to end the madness for good. Kamala Harris for president.
