"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Yahoo's with AK-47's is not what the founding fathers had in mind with the words "well regulated militia" even applying those words in the most literal way. Yes, the wording is tragically clumsy, but Scotus has taken a magic marker to the first half of the sentence, leaving regulation to cowardly and corrupt congressional cretins.

When writing the 2nd Amendment, the British soldiers were entering the colonists' homes, and taking their guns. Remember guns were necessary, used mostly for hunting for food. Our Forefathers made sure that that would never happen again. They never dreamed that we would have a society like we have today. They are rolling in their graves! I just hope that they are praying for all of us who love democracy!
