While there may be less than two weeks until Election Day, there's still plenty to discuss before the final votes are cast. Yesterday, I sat down with Puck’s Tara Palmeri to break down the state of both campaigns, early voter turnout and how everyone is feeling in the final stretch.

Message to HARRIS CAMPAIGN on misleading “Electorate is Dissatisfied stat…”
The press inaccurately continues citing “Americans feel country moving in wrong direction” as a knock on Biden-Harris. Rather NOT. FYI, for many, our dissatisfaction a direct result of the last 9-1/2 years of America’s oily orange sociopath and his, enabled-by-the-press, flame-throwing, noxious rhetoric.
Harris-Walz campaign PLEASE SAY IT LOUD. Stop them from their surface “me, here, now” gaslighting. Dig below the surface and reckon with the facts. Many are dissatisfied, yes. They are dissatisfied with Trumpler’s scorched earth, fascist, divisive, hellfire, toxic lying politics. Most “non half-wits” are disgusted with the lying, criminal fascist and his cadre of “hang your spine at the door” enablers. Trumpler, for many, he is the reason for deep dissatisfaction with direction of America.
We need systems to:
1. Protect from rise of a fascist - ever again …
2. Prevent criminals from running for public office…
3. End government for sale / money in elections…
4. End corruption of American elections, enacting control of air time, no private dollars, campaign length (10 weeks..?) as in Europe and other first world nations…
4. Reign in runaway R wing-nut SCOTUS with term limits, ethics code, repeal Buckley, repeal Citizens to name a few…
5. End electoral college, one vote one person, end filibuster. Both wrong and unfair vestiges of slavery and result in American apartheid nation…
6. Return congressional maps to rectangles, blind to demographics.
The people unhappy. Trumpler isn’t the answer; he’s the reason.
Steve, I subscribed to Tara Palmeri’s column on your recommendation several months ago, and you said from her reporting, you didn’t know her party affiliation. That may be true, but after a lot of exposure I think her affiliation is toward thrill-seeking, access, the process, friction—an adrenalin junkie of sorts. Maybe it’s her relative youth, time in the Washington bubble, and lack of understanding of the real-world consequences of what is happening. But for sure, she roots for conflict and excitement, and she has said she never wants it to end. Maybe it gets her access, but this is a little gross, to me. It’s very, very cynical, and seems very cold and callous to human suffering. I guess I’d call it heartless.
