I’m so sad today after watching this documentary because of what has already happened to much of my own family in Montana: brainwashed and destroyed by Military Christian Nationalism and now they too are highly armed and dangerous to myself and to the survival of our Democracy. We had Montana's smallest state park on our 160 acre family property for 20 years or more, something to be proud of, a homesteader's sod roof log cabin that was part of Montana's heritage, and my family heritage, until an Oath Keeper influenced my x-military brother to put up a shooting range behind the cabin and soon after we lost the valuable state lease in 2008 and are no longer on the State Park registry. Now it is a Christian Nationalist Military practice ground, the same ‘local battlefield’ that Flynn is commanding across our nation. I lost my own brothers to this insanity. I am sickened by all of this. We are losing our Democracy to this Cult-Insanity. Christian Nationalists are waging a 'Holy War'. Is this now a civil war in the U.S.A? DANGER. My heart is bleeding for the children. We have so much work to do in the face of what appears to be a dire and grave threat to our Democracy.

Before being upset by the documentary I will look at and listen to, I want to comment this. Mike Flynn's dark intent has been recognized, commented upon, regurgitated again and again in the forums of opinion. I supported all the voices who, alarmed, called out his danger. And there is only one thing to do, albeit late and solely for whatever reasons the military establishment has decided it must be so, he should be immediately held accountable by his superiors. He should be stripped of all symbols of his past accomplishments and legally prohibited to continue to attack "militarily" the country from within. If the above documentary is evidence of paramilitary violence, the responsible should be arrested and indicted. If the military establishment succumbs to his dark intent for America, then it will be the most egregious and weak display of submission to an American traitor, who must be striking the hearts with sadness and the minds with incomprehension of its most affected members, the men and women VOLUNTARILY serving the country at the risk of their own lives, mostly young women and men. It is the military brass that is responsible for such a disgraceful blow. And the citizens of America have already become its victims for having had their faith so mutilated.
I watched this too Steve and like you, I realized that most of America has no f’ing idea of what is coming. This documentary chilled me to the bone. We have been asleep and distracted by superficial bs for decades. At this point, we only have ourselves to blame.
For me, the most chilling part of the film was when the owner of The Hollow looked directly into the camera and said in a menacing and arrogant manner that Flynn’s followers would wait to see the outcome of the elections. If they don’t like the results, they will unleash unparalleled violence. This person (Miller?) was at the capitol on January 6. I don’t understand why Flynn and Brannon are allowed to continue their traitorous behavior.
The destruction of democracy and the rule of law is clearly underway and we are seemingly helpless. It is hard to imagine what terrible changes the next few months and years will bring.

Yes we have an issue of freedom to practice religion and separation of church and state. The legal/ ethical question is when does it, along with Christian Nationalism cross the line into a national threat where the government must step in.

There were a couple of things that struck me: On is how normal Flynn himself sounds, the other is what a CIA officer serving under himn called “Flynn Facts.” The third is that, as good as th Frontline piece was, the reporter never aked some critical questions: What precisely does Flynn mean by “socialism” and “communism?” What is th spiritul renewal he sees Christians going yhrough. Does hius spirituality have anything to do with growing closer to Go, or is it all about political power? Finally, I’d love to know whathis vision of success would look like? How would he change the country to make it more truly “Judeo-Christian” and, should he gain sufficient power to have his way, what happens to the Jews and Christians who oppose his vision, What happens to the Muslims, the Hindus, the Buddhists and various other religiious groups? Are they to be left alone? Not only that, but does Flynn believe that electoral loss by his conservative side is proof of the corruption of democrats? Does he really believe that if those who oppose him win, it is only because of their corruption? if he believes this, doesn’t it mean that he believes that only his side can legitimately win? Doesn’t that mean he would declare every vote opposing his vision of America as illegitimate and therefore every voter who casts a vote opposing him as illegitimate Americans? And how precisely would hw deal with such opponents? Toss them in jail, take them to re-education camps, take them to death camps? These are some of the unasked questions which haunt me.

When the guy spoke about the person he was in service with and he had the tape of Alex Jones, that was crazy. Even crazier are the number of individuals who took part in January 6th and are proud of their participation. What is so beyond comprehension is the conviction of those speaking in support of absolutely nothing they have evidence of; like a stolen election. They say its not against Republican or Democrat, but good and evil. And in their eyes from what I hear…that’s a Democrat!
