Steve, here is a person to profile:

Tammy Baldwin has ably represented the people of Wisconsin in the US Senate for over a decade and has a long history of public service. Her life experiences have made her deeply understand family issues. She was raised by grandparents because of her mother’s drug addiction. An illness left her without medical coverage (pre-existing condition). She is openly gay. Tammy understands middle-class Wisconsinites.

She is now facing Eric Hovde, a multimillionaire carpetbagger who is against the Affordable Care Act and reproductive rights. He has only lived in Wisconsin 12 years. Previously lived in Washington DC and has a home in California. He is a bank CEO.

We don’t need another Republican senator. We already have wack-job Ron Johnson.

Totally worthless, Russian affiliated, Ron Johnson. Who spends more time at one of his “vacation homes” in Florida than he spends with his constituents in Wisconsin.

Reminds me of the dumbest United States Senator: Tommy Tuberville. The word on him is he does not live in Alabama at all. He lives in Florida full time.

Addressing the retired Lt. General. WTF? How can anyone who served be so stupid or blinded to lend credence to the Election denier?

Anyone - elected officials or former / current military should be removed from their respective positions if they even say peep about the election being 'rigged'.

It wasn't and you 'F' ing know it. So why are you lying you jack holes? And if you think it did happen, then you are dumber than a door knob and really need to be shown the door.

Either way - they need to be removed - permanently.

Steve, I recommend doing a piece on Congressman Colin Allred who’s running against Senator (and certified bottom feeder) Ted Cruz to represent Texas in the Senate. Allred has a decent chance if grass roots support will mobilize behind him. Otherwise the dark money will get Ted Cruz elected yet again.

I second this recommendation!

Thomas, Steve has already done a highlight of Colin. It's in Steve's Archives.

In Missouri we have an excellent candidate, Lucas Kunce, running against the spineless Josh Hawley. He’s a former marine who grew up in a blue collar family. It would be great if you could highlight him. We so want to get rid of seditious Hawley.

Mareen, Steve has highlighted Lucas Kunce. There is a podcast interview of him in Steve's Archives.

Please please don't just call it the Big Lie. Call it what truly is, Bearing Fales Witness. Theological teachings call it a sin against God. It is fundamental in many religions. It is part of how to have a civilization. Push this at the deniers. If they can't prove their denial they are functioning as bearers of false witness.

I don't say this as a practitioner of any religion but one fled from religion because of all I saw in my younger days.

As a former New Jersey resident, I am proud that we have Mikie Sherrill as a Congresswoman. She is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and an H-3 Sea King Helicopter Pilot. She is a thinking person’s example of what an elected official can both aspire to and become.

I think Trump may be on to something: About half the voters seem to want a strongman dictator. But why? I can't for the life of me figure out why. Democracy – like anything else – is not perfect but it is perfectible. We need to look at the details to find where the troubles are and fix them. One of them is to get around the effect of money on our elections.

My biggest fears of Trump 2 are destroying the DOJ and co-opting the FBI, CIA and intelligence agencies. SCOTUS won’t step in, and even if we hold the Senate and they block Trump's corrupted nominees, he will put acting people in place even though I believe an acting cabinet member must have been approved by the Senate for another position first to be acting. He will just do it and SCOTUS won’t step in, so defacto takeover. The polls for Biden are horrible and the MSM continues to chase eyeballs and not hit panic buttons. T-2 with his DOJ will silence critics and imprison dissenters in the press so the MSM failures now will lead to the demise of our free press. The playbook is what Orban is doing in Hungary and our billionaire class being able to buy medias such as Sinclair and private equity destroying print media. Whole swaths of our population will tune out politics as too dissonant. Our backup plan is electing principled candidates to Congress and state legislatures since T-2 won’t be able to overcome legislation passed. If we hold the Senate, Schumer needs to step down even though he has passed tons of great legislation for someone who has the voice to take on Vance and Tuberville . The filibuster is dead and if we have a majority in both houses, we might stem the worst. Maybe enough republicans in the senate get balls (looking at you George Romney) to impeach some peeps. Ok, so much for plan B right now.

If Trump selects Vance as his VP, which I believe is a very real possibility, we will have to double down on our efforts to defeat both of them. I am not going to rest because I refuse to sleep under skies owned by Putin and his oligarchs.

Callie is very impressive and admirable but it should be mentioned that she has a Democratic Primary opponent, Bob Lorinser, who also has many strengths. She is not the sole opponent to Bergman as Steve leads us to believe.
