I can relate to Joyce’s pullover by the lady in the grocery store. All of us paying attention these long years may have wondered at first if all we needed to memorize were a bunch of crooked Russian oligarchs' last names and to brush up on our civics. But God no, and if only.

Thanks to Joyce and Steve and so many who are skillful at explaining as we rush ahead.

Thank you for doing these Zoom conversations. I've listened to them all to date and enjoyed, and learned from, each one. I've followed both of you on Twitter and subscribed to both substacks and have learned so much. I also enjoy the photos you both upload.

Great conversation between the two of you. One of few things I wrote on my calendar weeks ago and actually remembered. You both brought up such interesting points. Your acknowledgment about not voting locally. Hope that has changed. I always have even for the. School superintendent and I am old and never had children but still think it is important. Same with the judges. I would look to see what governor elected them.

Thought it interesting that Joyce brought up that “thanks” to Tfg that more people are finally paying attention to the workings of our legal system. The ins and outs of the grand jury workings etc.

That what is important to one group of people is not the same for all -location of where you reside.

Thanks again

I can tell the judge where they need to put that fat. Fuck! Not in prison that’s too damn good for him. Stick him out in some really impoverished area of the nation. I’m thinking deep east Texas where the poverty is phenomenal. Put him in some shack w/o electricity and NO Wifi way out in the middle of the woods. Make a compound kinda like Osama bin Laden ‘s compound. And put him in the reverse of an FBI witness protection program where his identity is just wiped out. No family no friends get to visit. And he only gets to live on garbage kind of food. I know he already eats garbage. But I mean give him $40 a month in food stamps and let him see how long that goes! And take all his riches and put it into charity. That’s my solution for what to do with that slob Jabba the Hut that used to be the POTUS!

And he is isolated and not ever allowed to leave. That would be just punishment. A good prison for him!

Can you take my questions now?

Suzanne Taylor (You) 05:16 PM

What to say about the Hunter Biden parallel to Jared?

Suzanne Taylor (You) 05:22 PM

Is Trump going to get a presidential portrait or a library? Kind of makes me laugh to ask this.

Suzanne Taylor (You) 05:42 PM

Are you paying attention to Marianne Williamson? After all the bla bla, if you just listen she has the goods in spades.

Yes! Here you go:

1. There is no parallel because Hunter Biden never had America's highest security clearances and access to the nation's greatest secrets. However, the investigations around Hunter Biden could wind up being a big deal in a presidential race.

2. The way a presidential library works is that the ex-president has to raise money for it, and then they turn it over to the government as a gift. I can't imagine that there will ever be a Trump library because he's not a giving type of guy! Secondly, will his portrait hang in the WH? I don't know. Certainly no Democratic president will host him to hang it. I hope there will be a time when that would be the same for a Republican president. If I were the president, I would never hang it!

3. I haven't been paying attention to Marianne Williamson beyond the fact that, together with Robert Kennedy Jr., their vote share is something that Team Biden should be very focused on.

Have Marianne as a podcast guest. If there weren't handles for taking potshots at her -- running for president without ever holding any office, her hot temper, that woo woo connection she has to where we're supposed to love each other -- and you pay attention to the good she has done hands-on in the world and to what she says, she'd be the intelligent choice. It wouldn't be for moving the deck chairs on the Titanic but for dealing with what's causal to hitting the iceberg.

Steve, how's about recommending me here as I recommend you????

Superb! I loved your answer to the question re: concern for our democracy. While I think Joyce is amazing, I agree with your darker view. You get at the deep stuff between the lines and your knowledge of history re: the rise of fascism in the 30s completely relates to what is happening now.
