I’d like to believe that there are some pretty sharp military minds already weighing all the possible reasons for the meeting and the potential results.

A great opportunity for the brass to arrest Hegseth and assume control, to return dignity to the nation's armed forces, who are sworn to protect American citizens from enemies both foreign and domestic. The greatest threat to America is the current corrupt occupant of the people's White House.

If only that would happen. I fear 1935. After watching the absolute debasement and abject humiliation and capitulation of millions, and the abandonment of every shred of sanity and decency evaporate, and multitudes bend the knee these last ten years, from the Supreme Court, the Congress, the media, the religious establishment, the lawyers, the business world, and on and on, I am not holding my breath. Why would the military be any different?

A good 70% of the country are in one of two camps. They are either full MAGA, full Nazi, full cruelty and insanity (30-35%?)or they continue to “both sides” this (30-35%)to DEATH. The later is what drives me more insane with every passing day…….. even the “nice Christian people” in my circles who know that Trump is not a cult leader still say, “oh settle down now, it’s not that bad, those Democrats/liberals are just as bad or worse.” It is not MAGA that has killed the country, it is THEM. The 30 million of THEM who voted for Trump in 2024, the 30 million who STILL say “well, well, it will work out, or shame on both sides.” The blood of this country is on their hands, not Trump. We are morally bankrupt, and the society, culture and now government and our 249 year old republic are too.

Religious fanaticism=insanity. If an individual wants to pray and live according to the arbitrary morality and standards of a given religion that is fine. But don't even think about using the power of government to impose your way of life on the rest of us. If we survive the current wave of religious extremism threatening our democracy and secular values, we must create a government that is absolutely separate from any and all religions and any reference to supernatural beings who can be appealed to by mere mortals. Let's start by cutting out appeals to pray. If you want to pray, fine. But don't try to draw me into your web of craziness.

Religion is the problem, not the solution. Everywhere.

I try not to be as negative as you sound. I can still go to the beach and hear the surf, sit and read a book in my back yard.

I can't allow all the pandemonium consume me or I will become as crazy as the idiots in charge. I have to stop hating all these people. It starts to destroy my soul. I won't let them have that.

These people are NOT my fellow Americans and I'm not theirs. I don't know what happened to them to cause this. I look at political leaders on both sides of the aisle who failed us.

I constantly hear pundits claiming that shutting down the government would be a bad move, as it would allow Trump free rein, with no oversight.

Have you witnessed any oversight lately? Isn't Trump already operating like a dictator and doing whatever he likes?

Let's cut to the chase. YOU ARE THE HEROES THE COUNTRY NEEDS.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

THE TIME FOR ACTION WAS YESTERDAY.

The majority of the Democratic Party has failed its constituents horrendously.

When almost 100 of them vote to honour rabid racist Charlie Kirk, at the same time that Republican radicals are casting unwarranted blame on anyone seemingly left, you should know those political hacks don’t represent your salvation from MAGA madness.

There needs to be a SHUTDOWN, that is orchestrated by the people. You don’t need politicians to be the flag bearers in your righteous crusade for justice. YOU hold the power.

This needs to be a continuous effort that doesn’t waver until basic human dignities and rights are returned. You can’t pencil in a period of a few days and then relent, expecting there to be any significant impact. The public needs to rise up nationwide. You are the majority several times over. If you are not willing to temporarily sacrifice and suffer now, you had better prepare yourselves, your children and your grandchildren to be permanently under the dictator’s boot. Project 2025 is in hyper drive, but the public is still acting shellshocked. You need to snap out of it. You do not have months to strategize. The time to rise up was yesterday. Haven’t you witnessed enough to realize where the country is headed? The Billionaires are playing you for suckers. They need a shot of cold hard reality, to remind them that this is your damn country. Waiting for elections in 2026/28 is a fool's gambit, that they are counting on you falling for. Let the politicians squabble endlessly, while they witness the massive swell of the peoples’ outrage in the streets. They need to be reminded that it is YOU who pays their huge salaries, covers all their expenses and gives them the security of lucrative pensions, regardless of how terrible they perform.

They are drunk on their self-inflated importance. They were elected to serve. They have failed miserably. They have sold you out at every turn, while enriching themselves and their cronies. Don’t you believe you deserve better? Don’t you believe it is time for major changes? Don’t you believe the world could be a better place? Don’t you believe this fight is just? It is time to realize that there is no calvary coming in this B grade saga. The only hope of a happy ending is if the collective masses demand to dictate how this drama ends.

New Republic Reports Cheeto As Hitler

The New Republic posted an article(https://bit.ly/4nmwxPf) that the MSM(Mainstream Media) failed to report on but should have

It involves Colombian President Gustavo Petro addressing the UN General Assembly(UNGA) and likening the US president Cheeto as an international criminal who is governing his country like Hitler did in the 1930’s Petro signaled to the UNGA that Cheeto’s deadly attacks on boats in the Carribean and his complicity with the Gaza genocide marks him as an international war criminal like Netanyahu And Cheeto’s use of a government Gestapo to round up innocent migrants, destroying the climate change initiatives, taking the power of the purse away from Congress, and his attack on free speech make him a Hitlerian dictator

Time for MSM to wake up and cover the important comments made by world leaders and how they view America and its fascist government

It worked in Germany, for awhile. With the help of a complicit, unified Republican Party, compliant Democratic “leadership”, a spineless corporate media discarding integrity in favor of fundamental capitalism’s rewards, it’s working here. For awhile. This can only end well if there’s a massive reckoning, a return to values we once took for granted, and an uncomfortable but necessary holding to legal account of ALL the criminals now attempting to destroy our democracy and our nation.

And I'd like to ask them to remember who loves and respects and trusts them because you can never be a rich man when the woman you're with looks at you the way Melania looks at Trump.

Looking at the second ICE video; at the end the narrator says, “according to ICE, the perpetrator had several knives and lots of drugs in him.

Is it me, or do these guys always manage to say the guy they arrested was a member of this….we found lots of drugs, etc….? And with the recent assassinations and mass shootings, they always manage to find either anti-Ice or anti-fascist carvings on the bullets.

And even before they have a suspect, he’s always has been “indoctrinated into radical left-wing” trans ideology.

And he’s never a lone shooter, they make sure for it to be known they are actively hunting all the left-wing groups and their financier’s: queue-in George Soros and Antifa!!! They always set the narrative and need to justify their continued effort to destroy every liberal NGO and their benefactors. And all of this under the guise of “Law and Order!”

As for Hegseth and his new military of the damned? Between using Kirk for his new marketing campaign of Christian’s In Action, and the recall of all the generals, we could be looking at a Saddam Hussein style “get to know you” meeting. Hegseth gathers all the senior military leadership, and starts calling off names of all the officers deemed not loyal enough, or were outed by Laura Loomer; however, instead of sending their bodies back to their families in pieces, they are summarily dismissed and stripped of their clearances.

Either way, it appears that Hegseth wants to build an army to fight the Ninth Crusade; so good luck with that!….:)

Robert, after watching the video of the agent shoving a distraught woman to the ground because ICE took away her husband, I agree; ICE will lie and plant drugs on their victims to justify their unconstitutional behavior. I am reading an historical trilogy of novels by Bernard Cornwell, "The Warlord Chronicles." It is set in late fifth century Britain and describes the wars among the British kingdoms and against the invading Saxons. There is much detail about the conflicts between the growing number of Christians and the pagans. Day to to day life was rife with insecurity, fear, famine and hardship. All caused by greed and fanaticism. The novel is like a horror story and as I read it, I realize we are no different from the people of that long ago age. We just have far more advanced weapons and I have little (no?) doubt that we are going to destroy our own species...soon.

Regarding Hegseth's refusal to rescind Wounded Knee 1890 MOH's: In a statement issued Friday afternoon, Oglala Sioux Tribe President Frank Star Comes Out said, in part, “Secretary Hegseth’s refusal is despicable, untruthful, and insulting to the Great Sioux Nation. More than 300 unarmed Lakota men, women, and children were massacred at Wounded Knee--it was NOT a battle, it was REVENGE for America’s only loss on what they consider their home soil.”

I thought I read an account from HCRs post. It wasn't a battle, but I thought American soldiers were to round up a band of the Lakota and their families. They wanted their hunting rifles. There was a scuffle and a gun went off. The soldiers got excited and started shooting - they even accidentally shot some of their own guys who got in the way - and they killed every last one of the Indians. I'll try to get the full history.

This is a chilling event and no one knows what will happen. This is the sign of fascist, authoritarian, terrorism and complete control of all levers of power. GOP Congress ties up the Legislative Branch, US Supreme Court shadow docket and decisions tie up the Judicial Branch, trump, all Cabinets tie up the Executive Branch. The enforcement of law and order is only in the Executive Branch and everything is neatly stonewalled, dismantled before our eyes, budgets ignored. I think the last vestige of protection for We the People, the US Constitution, law/order is the US Military. The take an Oath of Loyalty to the US Constitution, no man, group, Executive Order can strip their Oath to serve and protect our people and the rule of law in the US Constitution. To act in concert against these Oaths is TREASONOUS by definition.

340M Americans wait for what happens in this male dominated battle of wills. Boils down to a real pissing contest with dire consequences. Sorry but...
