Questions for the generals
Nearly every general officer of the United States Armed Forces, along with their senior enlisted advisors, have been ordered to report en masse to Quantico, Virginia, on Tuesday.
There is no public information available about the reason for the assembly, though given the proximity of Quantico to Washington, DC, maybe Fox News Pete wants to show them all the makeup room that his third wife Jenny, a former Fox News producer, designed for him. Known as “Yoko Ono” around the E-ring, Jenny accompanies paranoid Pete to all of his meetings to make sure he keeps his pants up, and his lips off of any open bottles.
Champagne Pete is up on the wall.
He is ever vigilant. Always watching.
Here is a perfect example:
General Ben Hodges is a retired United States Army officer, who served as commanding general, United States Army Europe.
Can you imagine the moment that the Pentagon X room lit up with this incoming?
And this:
Some of America’s greatest warriors no doubt sprung into action. Can you imagine Seal Team 6 breaching the makeup room to carry Pete and Jenny to the Situation Room to craft the response to these incidents?
Pete is always watching.
Of course, the mind cannot help but drift towards the nefarious when the stupidity overwhelms every conceivable explanation for why the entire senior leadership of the US military would be ordered to depart their commands, and assemble at a precise geographic point at a precise time.
Were the scenario the basis for a movie depicting the beginning of a coup it would be dismissed as too far-fetched because nothing so absurd could ever be allowed to happen in real life — not to mention the cost, waste of taxpayer money and massive logistics involved.
Yet, here we are.
Can you imagine the disrespect that the generals feel for the drunken National Guard major whose press department recently lied about his receiving the “Bronze Star Medal for valor?”
Can you imagine the disdain that senior professional soldiers feel for a man accused of rape, who entered into a confidential settlement agreement with his alleged victim?
Can you imagine the embarrassment for someone who is festooned with Christian nationalist tattoos, who has desecrated the Armed Forces with this insanity?
Can you imagine the shame of men and women who talk about honor, duty and integrity as they rise to attention for the entrance of Secretary Pete and General Caine, first chairman of the Trump Force?
How many ambitious generals are in the room?
How many have a knife in their hand and stars in their eyes?
How many see opportunities to advance right to the top? How many want to show the secretary a picture of themselves in a MAGA hat at a church service while in uniform?
How many want to drop a word about how much they believe Pete Hegseth’s extremist Pastor Doug Wilson is right when he says this:
Who will be the first to stand up and say that he ordered his men to watch Charlie Kirk videos so that they are prepared to fight America’s real enemies — our most dangerous foes ever — transgenders teenagers, gardeners, maids and the father of three US Marines?
Will the generals agree that their soldiers are weak, woke, unready and unsteady?
Perhaps an ICE Superman can come to the meeting:
The long-held position of the Trump regime is that the American soldier is weak and the ICE man is strong.
Do the generals agree?
Will they express their enthusiasm in the way that Elon Musk did when he was overcome with emotion and power at the beginning of the disaster at hand?
Will the generals agree that they serve the nation and a Constitution, or are they ready to evolve into serving a man who claims that he is the nation?
Here are the mottos of the US Armed Forces:
The United States Army, founded in 1775: “This We’ll Defend.”
The United States Navy, founded in 1775: “Honor, Courage, Commitment.”
The United States Marine Corps, founded in 1775: “Semper Fidelis” (“Always Faithful” or “Always Loyal”).
The United States Coast Guard, founded in 1915: “Semer Paratus” (“Always Ready”).
The United States Air Force founded in 1947: “Aim High…Fly-Fight-Win.”
Donald Trump has repeatedly desecrated military cemeteries and demeaned the heroic virtues of service, sacrifice, courage and love. He has demeaned prisoners of war and those wounded in action. Surrounded by the corrupt and phony, Donald Trump is a man without dignity, character, grace or loyalty.
He incited a coup. He is a convicted felon. The simple truth of the matter is that every single West Point cadet has been turned into a hypocrite by the American people because we have imposed on them a commander in chief whom they cannot shake hands with because doing so breaches their code.
Every single value that the military purports to hold dear is something MAGA hates and mocks.
The generals know that they are led by liars and fools.
The generals know that war is coming, despite Donald promising peace.
What they know deep down is that Pete Hegseth is the single biggest f@*#ing dipshit to ever command the US Armed Forces. He is going to get their men and women killed because he is:
Incompetent
Mentally unstable
Erratic
Lacking in judgement
A performative sycophant and an organ grinder’s monkey
Dishonest
Extreme
Delusional
Paranoid
The big question is: how many generals care about any of it?
How many are just different versions of Tim Cook and Shari Redstone?
How many Bob Igers are in the room?
How many Scott Jennings?
How much character exists in the military?
How much love of nation and the Constitution exists in the military?
What happens when an unlawful order is given in the name of Trump?
We have seen the results at the corrupted Department of Justice, which has been turned into an engine of retribution and vengeance in nine months’ time.
Dire days lay ahead, but have no fear, Champagne Pete is on the wall with JD Vance and Marco Rubio by his side.
Heil Trump!
The question, I suppose, is: how would an ambitious general answer to that salute?
Many years ago, I knew a man whom Donald Trump called a “loser.”
Trump announced his antipathy by pointing out that he didn’t like airmen who were shot down by surface-to-air missiles, while ordered into harm’s way by dishonest politicians.
At any rate, that man had a friend, who is a strange and peculiar little man. He is a type of jester — quick with a joke, but seemingly loyal to America.
That man was an Air Force colonel.
His name is Lindsey Graham.
Though I wouldn’t have guessed it way back when I do know for certain now how Lindsey Graham would heed that salute.
He would do anything for Trump.
He would murder democracy, liberty and justice in America for Trump.
He would shred the Constitution for Trump. He would say nothing when the psychopathic Kristi Noem started lining Americans up against the wall.
Here is how Kristi Noem sees dissent in America. She believes that the oldest political party in the world is a terrorist organization, and in America, it is our generals and admirals who deal with terrorists.
Admiral William McRaven famously commanded the operation that killed Bin Laden.
I wonder if his successor might be sitting in a room in Quantico. Perhaps he will be remembered for leading the raid on the DNC, which kills who exactly?
I guess, in the end, that is the real question for the generals.
Unfortunately for them, they are American soldiers, and just following orders is no defense when the wheel turns — and turn, it always does.

I’d like to believe that there are some pretty sharp military minds already weighing all the possible reasons for the meeting and the potential results.
A great opportunity for the brass to arrest Hegseth and assume control, to return dignity to the nation's armed forces, who are sworn to protect American citizens from enemies both foreign and domestic. The greatest threat to America is the current corrupt occupant of the people's White House.
I’ll have to put my money on the over 30,000 years of military combat experience and leadership over one disgraced O-4 dismissed from his Army unit for christian nationalist (traitorist) actions. Regardless, I fear nothing as I served 30 years, know these warriors, and remain fully resolute to the oath i’ve taken. Time to fulfill their oaths.\
