I felt badly that I didn’t introduce you to our full pack yesterday, which includes two girls: Lola and Sophie. Many people also questioned how I could possibly have a dog named Tucker. Well, when we first got him, he liked to wear bow ties, so…we decided to call him Tucker after that other Tucker. Just kidding. We adopted Tucker at nine months old, after he’d failed the final test to become a service dog. We didn’t want to confuse him by changing his name. We’re sure glad that he didn’t qualify to become a service dog because we just adore him…and by any normal measure, he is exceptionally well-trained. Teddy is named after, you guessed it, Theodore Roosevelt. There’s no significance behind the girls’ names.
The extremist that have taken over the Republican party have an unhealthy fixation of holding guns to the heads of American citizens. They are destined to fail, as all dictators do eventually. However, the damage done will be felt for generations. They hold a gun to the head of child bearing age woman and tell us that they are better suited than women or their doctors to make life and death decisions. They hold the gun to the heads of parents and say your children should live in fear so they can feel manly about their assult weapons and high capacity magazines. They feign powerless but the power is in their refusal to negotiate sensible gun legislation. They hold a gun to the heads of citizens who have paid their bills faithfully for decades. They threaten to tear down our financial institutions so they can point the finger at Biden. These finger pointers should look at the hand pointing at President, Biden. They will see three fingers pointing back at them the true person holding America hostage.

Days in and days out. In your space I saw light at the end of the tunnel. And, certainly, my favorite phrase of the week came from Mr. Andrew Weissmann (for us infants racing against the lentitude of justice) and said to the Special Counsel of the DOJ investigating Trump, 'Take the heat!'" Absolutely. We would not want less than that to say finally one day: "Justice has been made."

If this country defaults, it will throw the world economy into chaos, and it will destroy our world standing (not just economically) for generations. But, I strongly suspect that that's exactly what the MAGA/Sedition Caucus wants. Our credit rating would drop like a rock, making it harder for the government to borrow..............which they want. It would be much harder to support our allies (such as Ukraine)...............which they want. It would poison politics in the country far beyond even the current, disgusting cesspool that it usually is...................which they want. And, they would happily pin the blame for all of it on President Biden and/or the Democrats in general and campaign on it in the next election, even if it's entirely their fault. The question is, would voters fall for their BS? After the last 20-30 years of elections, I'm willing to bet that the answer, unfortunately, is "yes".

There are more Americans with very little or no savings at all. What happens to those who are not wealthy if the country defaults? It looks like the idiots in maccarthys cabal are going to allow that to happen. Does everyone's meager lifeline dry up? Is it evident that people will starve, unable to provide food for their families?
I am also curious as to what the maga morons will do when their families starve. Does anyone really think they'll care what the cause was? Or will they finally realize they brought this on themselves? Is it even possible that they would blame the orange traitor and his cronies for pushing this fragile country over the edge?
