I continue to be very perplexed/puzzled as to why men are so determined to roll back women's rights. That 1864 factor somehow backdoors into 1984, perhaps in an awkward sense. I urge every woman of voting age to come out in masses and turn the Republican Party inside-out, upside-down. (Like Trump wants to do to our nation.) The destructive path that the Republicans are putting our country on bodes ill and evil for the republic. It also is time to give very serious thought to altering the makeup of the Supreme Court. Turn the 9 into 13, to match the 13 circuits.

The Arizona republicans were so eager to create pain that they forgot how karma works. Payback will be hell.

I loved this. Thank you, Steve. I know it’s got to be hard to wind your way through hundreds of comments, but I hope you will consider making a video about exactly how Donald Trump is getting away with sending a “shadow envoy” around the world simultaneously, creating and cementing authoritarian alliances from MAR A LAGO. How is this allowed? And again, the media barely covered the majesty of the state dinner and the important alliances therein.

Thanks Steve. One of your all-time bests!👏

Fortunately, women still have the right to vote. And they can still change the trajectory. Do not presume it will always be so. They’re trying to take away control over our own bodies. They’re trying to take away black and brown people’s ability to vote. They’re trying to put an aspiring dictator back in the White House. Act while you still can.

Great commentary as always Steve!! It's been a hell of a week. From Arizona to OJ I'm exhausted. I think I will just let your words speak for me today. But I know one thing...Look out November!! The women WILL be out in full force.

It was great to see Biden doing a State dinner and being so Presidential. He is more than ready and capable to handle another 4 years contrary to John Bolton's nasty comments this week. Grrrrr.

I am so so ready for the Trial on Monday. Finally finally we might see some Justice and accountability. At long last. Hope you can get some R and R this weekend. We love you!!

❤️🇺🇸💙

Misogyny comes from Greek, meaning hatred of women.

It was common enough even in pre- Homeric times( before 800bc) to already be named as a mental sickness.

It continues to exist in our Times all throughout the world.

Dont be inordinately concerned or overly surprised by MAGA and Trump having that ancient mental sickness.

Slam dunk, Steve! Way to rail on MAGA/GOP for being 'big government', in our privacy. Way to go!

Interesting that the former Governor of Arizona not only appointed the 1864 Theocrats, but he expanded the court to do so:

“A ban on nearly all abortions in Arizona doesn’t sit well with the Republican former governor whose expansion of the state Supreme Court allowed him to appoint the four conservative justices whose ruling cleared the way for it.

Doug Ducey is among Republicans in several states who are wrestling with the consequences of their opposition to abortion since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. He expanded the state court in 2016.”

Yup. The Democrat powered corporate Regime relies on female rage voters. The 30% Republicans that cannot stop their moral authoritarianism over abortion (or their obsession to own the libs) cannot stop handing the corporatist Democrats this gift.

Because without the female rage vote, the modern Democrat Party are very much disliked by the electorate.

Steve, after listening intently to the second half of your commentary, I couldn’t’ve felt more patriotic and just couldn’t resist a self indulgent fist pump while saying out loud, your goddamned right!

Your commentary should be a compulsory listen for every high school AND collegiant U.S. history, political science, and civics class in America.

Right on brother. Keep up the good fight.

Steve, please talk about the reality of living in a country ruled by Russian overlords. So many people don’t know or don’t care how so many in Eastern Europe suffered under Communist regimes imposed on them. Anyone remember East Germany?
