Lindsey unnerves me...it is hard to coherently articulate my feelings. I do appreciate the "stream of consciousness" - yes, please continue whenever it strikes you, especially during these crazy weeks of nonsense!
I LOVED your perfectly articulated assessment (and name) of this cowardly buffoon. Your former Boss John would chew his A.. off forever for his incredibly disgusting dishonor of our country, and the constitution. He is (without doubt) the most despicably cowardly-acting, treasonous lightweight in the Senate (except maybe Tommy Tubberville; a close 2nd). Thank you Steve for shining your bright light of truth, clarity, and honor, and continuing to take a stand for integrity and character.

Your take on Lindsey Graham feels right - I trust your opinion because you’ve spent so many hours witnessing his li’l ol’ aw shucks Mayberry character. I have the misfortune to not only be a confident female living in SC, but also to depend on him and Tim Scott to represent me and my state in the US Senate. Their incompetence is excruciating.
This is my first opportunity to remark about your post "Did you Hear." Your characterization of Lindsey Graham is an old obvious tale of cowardice, corruption and weakness..However, the importance of your retelling it now can not be understated..He is a traitor and should be removed from the Senate..It seems to me, that there are way too many traitors like Lindsey Graham in and out of our government, I only wish that the exhausted majority as it is liked to be called had the will to deploy the necessary measures to eradicate them from the country..

He is definitely hiding being gay (although I wonder how many people here in S.C. really believe that he is straight). I couldn't care less about whether he's straight or gay, but I'm certain that many in S.C. would drop him like a hot potato if they knew. How do I know? A good friend of mine ran for Congress more than a decade ago. She is openly lesbian and has done a lot in our area and eventually the country to support gay folks. When she was preparing to run, Miss Lindsey had his office call her and tell her that if she ran, he would expose her sexuality. (As if she hadn't already!) Her salvo: "Fine! You reveal mine, and I'll reveal yours!" No response. Nothing further from his office. What a nasty idiot.
Your commentary on Lindsey Graham is spot on! He has no core character or belief system. Once John McCain was gone, he had to find another spotlight person to attach to and whose belief system he could adopt. What a weak, pathetic man he is!😝
People like Lindsey Graham get into positions of leadership because we do not teach in school what good leadership should look like. Instead of servant leadership, too often we get the kind of people Steve describes here- people like Lindsey Graham. Graham who is a fraud and a grifter masquerading as a US Senator. Because we have no idea what true servant leadership in public service looks like, we accept counterfeits like Lindsey Graham even when it is obvious how morally and ethically bankrupt they are. Steve’s recent column on FDR does show an example of what genuine servant leadership consists of. We must demand and hold our public officials for that type of leadership. Not the kind the MAGA world wants to foist on us, which is not leadership, it’s lechery.
