Here is incontrovertible evidence that Trump is incapable of choosing competent people to any federal office in the U.S.A.:

"During his own speech, Trump thanked Walker for his endorsement and later made a bizarre promise to put the ex-NFL star in charge of a 'missile defense shield'he planned to build.

'We’ll put Herschel Walker in charge of that little sucker,' he said."

Case closed. This man must never be president again, especially in light of the immunity given to the occupant of that office by the Maga "Justoces" sitting in SCOTUS.

Sorry, I don’t understand the term “Justoces.”

Haha! "Justices."

Steve thanks for all that you do. It’s been great riding with you during this entire election season. Thank you for connecting me with the heroes of our past, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that I could grow up in a FREE Country. I hope and pray VP Harris is victorious tomorrow, I think she will be. Thank you again for your work to protect American Democracy and American ideals, “the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” After we defeat those who want to topple American Democracy tomorrow Where do we go from here so that those types of forces don’t get a foothold again? I think we need some type of commission to study how we can strengthen American Democracy and go to work enacting those recommendations and reforms. I look forward to your future posts. Have a great day Steve. Peace.

If Liz Cheney can close rank with Kamala Harris on behalf of her beloved nation while nine barrels of guns in Trump’s deluded imagination are trained on her head, it should be a walk in the park for the rest of us to go out and vote to save the United States. https://youtu.be/CrbeZi64MXI?si=ts8Cya4foLBiHTP9

Why do I keep seeing articles that pollster Nate Silver is in Peter Thiel’s pocket? It confirms my suspicion about these clowns and the stinking crap they put out. It is long past for me to be fooled by anyone associated with self-hating Peter Thiel.

Because it’s true.

It really is despicable. I thought this Silver clown was considered a respectable pollster.

I also believe Trump is guilty of treason and insurrection. Not one speech that monomaniacal narcissist gave during his fist term ever made me believe he had this country’s best

interests at heart. I knew he wasn’t going to leave voluntarily and he will do whatever it takes to not be prosecuted for his crimes. What are the penalties for treason, by the way?

Oh Trumps 1980s lawyer Roy Cohn single handidly put the Rosenbergs to death for treason ....

That’s what I thought. It’s a good thing Kamala’s background is in justice. I’m thinking we’re not gonna see another Merrick Garland as AG.

I have not watched any news for the last 8 months with the exception of The Warning. I am so frightened that I won’t be watching the returns tomorrow night. I’ll be waiting for your notice. Thanks for all you do.

I doubt we will know who won until later this week; as told on 60 minutes last evening.

I am more than a little worried about MAGA chicanery. It's likely to get ugly, fast. Mild mannered Merrick Garland behind the wheel at DOJ doesn't make me feel any more secure either. Fasten your seatbelts!

....unless it's a surprise landslide for Kamala, which, considering the choice, I see as a possibility.

Lorrie, I wish I’d done the same. Steve was all I really needed and instead of hours reading and watching the painful, biased news, I could have been reading hundreds of great books.

Steve or anyone out there – Are there truly any “checks and balances“ to restrain a President Trump? After all, he will control the DOJ and the military. If the courts rule against him, what prevents him from simply ignoring them? They have no enforcement mechanisms.

Just brainstorming about a worst-case scenario.

Expand full comment

The only constraints on him will be the individual choices of bureacrats and military officers to refuse to obey his unconstitutional orders. It could spell violent civil war with horrors most Americans, myself included, have never experienced first hand.

Au contraire, Peter Thiel has much to despise in himself and we should allow him to continue to self-immolate. Just bring marshmallows.

I’m as anxious as everyone else about tomorrow’s election but I feel VP Harris has run an outstanding campaign through honesty and with utmost integrity. Trump, on the other hand, has encouraged violence, retribution and misery for anyone who disagree with him. We don’t even flinch anymore when he lies because we are so used to it. He is enemy #1 and I pray he will be defeated!

Thanks Steve, great closing argument. Now everyone has to go and vote.

Just dropped my ballot in the drop box with Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and all Blue candidates checked. At age 70 I cannot remember ever having voted with such conviction and determination. Steve, thank you for sharing these videos and speeches. John McCain’s was perfect. Your appearance on Deadline Whitehouse with your prediction of political violence was the first time I ever heard you speak or knew of you. I remember thinking you were the most brilliant commentator I had ever heard during this past ugly 10 years. Was thrilled to find you again here at The Warning and you have been my daily inspiration ever since. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for you and all you do so above and beyond every day in this quest.

If you want to read a story about how virulent the political disease called MAGA is, read about the behavior of leaders of local level GOP politics in Texas. And congratulations to the "Texas Tribune" for having the courage to print it:https://www.texastribune.org/2024/10/31/texas-tarrant-county-republican-chair-social-media-bo-french/

General George Washington put down rebellion from the ranks of his own soldiers more than once during the six year war for Independence. As President he established the foundational principles of the Constitution and handed it to future generations. Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country.

It might not be so easy as just an election and a supposed total electoral votes for each candidate.

Greg Palast wrote a piece yesterday detailing the possible timeline of what the MAGA/militant/billionaire opposition can do to decide who will be President. All of this can be done. Only they know if any of it will be done.

What I know for sure is that Palast has reported on Republican voter suppression, intimidation, and the new vote stealing via challenging voters at the polls for 25 years. The BBC regularly airs his reports. He has written books, produced documentary films. He names names-- the politicians, the billionaire funders, and trump, trump, trump. He has never been sued by any of them because he has the proof. Not sued by trump. Let that sink in. His current documentary, Vigilanites, Inc., gives a bit of history of the subject and details the voter challenging in which one person can rob hundreds or thousands of the right to vote by challenging their registration.

His team has not stopped working since the film was wrapped, and the new report is about what to watch for running up to December 11, which he calls "the new January 6th".

On CNN tonight Republican pundits with no shame, Smirking Scott Jennings, shapeshifter David Urban and officious Shermichael “Simpleton” insisted on going back to 2016 to promote their insistence that Donald Trump will win this election. They completely overlook trumps failed presidency and increasingly dangerous and demented rhetoric because “72% of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction” proves trump will win.

Well, I also believe that’s true. Not because I yearn to have trump back, but because Merrick Garland failed the American people by allowing trump to roam free for the past four years lying his ass off and sowing hate and division when he should have been arrested and thrown in jail on January 21, 2021 for inciting an insurrection. I’ve believed for four years that Garland is Biden’s greatest failure. It took this country a long time to figure out how harmful and dangerous Saint Ronnie Reagan actually was for this nation. But some us did not need to watch the documentary “Bad Faith” to understand exactly what a monster he was underneath his slick demeanor and his gifted speech writer. This is NOT 2016 when Democrats believed Hillary had it in the bag and didn’t bother to vote, when Hillary failed to heed her husband’s advice and campaign in critical swing states and when James Comey pulled his infamous October surprise. This is 2024 when Trump and his cowardly Republican lawmakers and brainwashed voters nominated a dementia ridden criminal and an inexperienced, billionaire-owned jackal as their party’s nominees.

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” All Democrats, and many Republicans and Independents understand how trump sullied the no longer supreme court, how he stokes division, and threatens democracy and will not allow this to happen again. And finally, the polls are riddled with unethical far right pollsters to promote the myth of a trump win to add fuel to trump’s inevitable false claim this election was rigged. That’s what we’re going to face in the next few weeks and we can only hope Kamala Harris has given Joe Biden a “to do” list and that he has the balls and the fortitude to carry it out.
