It was interesting to hear Mr Moscrops take. One would imagine that his view of the toxic situation here is shared by many of his peers around the world. That begs the question...how can we Americans be so blind to what is happening?

I would add, regardless of how flawed polls might be, I, nonetheless, was stunned by a recent poll that reported only 18% of Americans believe we could be on the cusp of losing our democracy. I fear, as with Germany in the immediate years after Hitler was named Chancellor, a huge swath of folks here in the States, for a host of reasons, some mentioned in the posted interview, have not woken up to the reality that there literally is no choice in November—none. We either have the continuation of the United States of America or we don’t. America needs to decide.
I think the fundamental issue as stated is economics and the “unprecedented” wealth disparity. Why can’t we rally around that flag, or is already too late to fight that fight?
In the news from North Carolina, here is an update regarding the MAGA Candidate for Governor Mark Robinson.
Mark Robinson spoke at an event over the weekend sponsored by a group that is against birth control. The MAGA candidate for governor was a featured speaker at a Christian men's event sponsored by the group PreBorn called "Fearless Army Roll Call 2.0."
PreBorn says on its website that birth control drugs are similar to having an abortion and the FDA's approval of birth control drugs is evil.
Yes, same guy. He is currently polling about even with his opponent, which is not something the people of North Carolina should be proud of. It is bad enough he is Lieutenant Governor.
And I say to anyone in this state who will listen to me: if you vote for this man, you are casting a vote for a man who hates women, gay people, and Jews. This is not complicated. Do the right thing.
I hope to God this state does not elect as Governor a misogynist, homophobe, and anti-Semite. This man is all of that and an absolutely disgusting example of what MAGA has given us.
The insurance situation in Florida is absolutely horrendous and is driving people out of their homes. You can pin that square on MAGA Brownshirt and Climate Change Denier Ron DeSantis.

Liberals are fleeing blue states for red states. That is the problem with them fleeing the country, they seem to have nowhere else to go except maybe Hungary, Japan or China. Although Portugal just elected a conservative government. But they have already driven up the cost of housing in Portugal.
You can get some smashing real state deals in Japan.
