Seems the meeting he had with the Director of CIA William Burns was a come to Jesus moment... thankfully something worked!

I hate to think we’re deifying someone simply for doing his job, mainly because our expectations for Republicans are so incredibly low. Thousands more died before this guy decided the Chaos Caucus was more trouble than it was worth.

I heard a little interview with Mike Johnson a few days ago and he was talking about the fact that his son is going to be graduating from the Naval Academy and he doesn’t want him to have to fight overseas. That is apparently why he voted for the package for Ukraine against Trump’s wishes. I hate to say that I don’t think that he grew conscience and backbone. I do believe, however, that he loves his son so at least he did it for that reason.

I always appreciate reading what you have to say and listening to you as well.

Think you're wrong on MJ. A coward to do the right thing. While Ukrainians dying, he was dithering and going with the wind. I sympathize wit parents, spouses and children who lost the center of their lives.

I can't give Mike Johnson credit for doing something that could and should have done months ago.

It shouldn't have taken a briefing from the CIA director for Johnson to finally push the bills over the finish line. He had to have had briefings on the situation prior to now. I can't buy his excuse that he did it because of his son. Johnson simply doesn't want the blame for Ukraine's potential defeat to be laid at the feet of the GOP.

I don't think you did. This bill should have been passed months ago as pertains to Ukraine. He still killed the Border Bill at trump's orders. He just had the fear of God put in him by the few remaining Republicans who put country first. And it was about time they stood up, Give him a few days. He will revert to the spineless coward he is.

Six months + delayed, however he got there, thankfully he got there. Incredible one man can hold up a country's business and its values. I was skeptical this "break it into 4 pieces" construct could hold up.

Pure powerful excellence, Steve! This is one of your best and most urgent "The Warning" videos ever. Your presence, gravity, ability to educate and warn, combined with the photos, videos, and graphics you and your team chose are commendable. Thank you to you and your team. Slam dunk!

Another hit out of the park, Steve. Outstanding. I especially love how you do not mince words when it comes to the malignant and proud ignorance of the loathsome Marjorie Taylor Greene. It’s a travesty that she has been sent to Congress.

I don't believe you or anybody underestimated Mike Johnson. He was an election denier and coup plotter. Don't ever forget what he is and what he could do.

There was a disgusting article in the WSJ yesterday about how congressional Republicans got Trump on board with this aid package. They made him think the lend-lease idea was his. The Congress is beholden to the whims of an unelected mob boss whom the American voters rejected in 2020.

While I'm glad the Democrats chose to share power rather than cede power by throwing the House into chaos like they did when they abetted the ouster of Kevin McCarthy, don't think for a second Johnson does not present a danger should he still be Speaker come January.

Experience matters. President Biden and his team are masters at politics. The President knows how to talk to people and make the arguments. I’m happy Speaker Johnson decided to back Ukraine’s fight for Freedom and Democracy. Hopefully this is the end of MAGAs grip on the Congress and the beginning of bipartisanship when it comes to America’s national security and protecting our 248 year old Republic against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I didn't listen, Steve. The fact that you believe MJ has any right to be ubnderestimated did not seem right. I usually listen, and that is because of you and your ponderous, precise, slow delivery style that assures every word can be heard clearly, the content, and the quality of those herein that comment , showing their great esteem for you-I like to listen to a man who is so esteemed.

But, MJ 's actions have to be seen as suspiciously motivated, and hence him being celebrated seems a litle precipitant.

Hard to believe that the mouth from the south would rather work with the Russians than the Democrats. What an idiot.

OMG Steve. Every American needs to hear what you just said. It's exactly what I have been afraid of, my grandkids fighting in WWIII.

I so appreciate Mike Johnson doing the right thing. I hope and pray he continues.

I agree, he came thru in fact democracy was visible and viable. No one got everything but both houses came together in sufficient numbers to prove that we can govern ourselves when reasonable people prevail.
