Wow, even though I read your every post and have learned so much about how the MAGAs are undermining our democracy, today, listening to the information about Michael Flynn has put me right on the ledge. The idea that the US military has trained and honed this person who now has gone to the dark side with all of his understanding, OMG! The only thing that makes me take a breath is that for every Michael Flynn, there has to be 100 military personnel who have taken their oaths to heart and who stand ready to protect us from Michael Flynn and his band of traitors. Please tell me this is true.

Those who knew him on active duty, knew him as a nut who thought he lived in "Apocalypse Now."

On your recommendation, I watched a documentary, possibly Frontline. Do you know how much involvement and influence Gen. Charles Flynn had during J6? For a few months afterward there were strong denials of Charles' culpability, but after seeing the unity of the many Flynn family members in Michael's cause, I find it hard to believe that Charles Flynn had no role in orchestrating delays and putting up roadblocks to enhance the insurgents' odds for success. This may not be a consequential question, but it piqued my curiosity.

Jim Stewartson has been following Mike Flynn online every day for years. See Stewartson's library of information on Flynn here: https://www.mind-war.com. He says Flynn is behind QAnon and part of the main team behind J6 and that since then--with his ReAwaken America tour and with his current tour promoting his new movie--Flynn has been setting the groundwork for another insurrection . I feel confident that Stewartson knows what he is talking about. He calls Flynn the biggest traitor in American history, and this is likely not hyperbole. Apparently, Mark Robinson is a favorite of Flynn's. I just learned that, but had suspected that for a while. Steve, please keep up the focus on Flynn.

Flynn and his actions, beliefs, and treason are beyond the pale and very concerning. He is a very dangerous man, in my opinion. He is also one of a long line of mistakes, imo, we’ve made as a nation dealing with those who betray our government. Lincoln was a great president, but one area I believe he errored on was his “let ‘em easy” post Civil War policy” towards former senior Confederates like Robert E Lee and Jefferson Davis. To some extent I understand such an approach with former rank and file Confederate soldiers. But Lee, Davis, and other senior Confederates were responsible for the deaths of thousands of Union soldiers! In many other countries treason like that would lead one almost immediately to the gallows or the firing squad. And, those actions going that far back, in my opinion, make actions like Flynn’s seem “ok” to us. They dull our sensibility to their severity, so we “let it slide”. Flynn is unabashedly preparing to try to overthrow our government and replace our democracy with a religious dictatorship. His actions are not “free speech”. It is the act of a traitor. Where is accountability? Where is the rule of law? Have we forgotten the “last full measure” so many heroic Americans gave us to preserve our democracy that Flynn and his cult followers so flippantly, casually, and callously want to abandon?

Flynn was respected? He was always an undermining character! Now, he is the star in religious motives to crash democracy, turning the country into a Christian Nationalist theocracy!

Flynn is no longer respectable! He should be in jail for his past actions! Another con man for Trump?

Blaming the Democrats or the system for Flynn's seditious behavior is silly. He has chosen his own path. And regardless of whether he has malice in his heart or not, we should have eyes on him 24/7.

He is only the tip of the iceberg of those preparing for armed warfare on US soil. We are awash in armaments and bad intentions and poor mental health.

If you simply observe his behavior, physically & verbally, a quick view that there is something wrong with this person..He does not behave in a normal manner...Obama even said that he had to watched as he saw things about this man as not quite right, mannerisms and words he used.....The question remains...Why hasn't anything been done about him. He is a constant threat to our democratic way of life!

I remember back in 2016, on my way to wrk one morning, I was listening to a radio interview with a woman who worked with Gen.Mike Flynn when he was in the military. Don't recall her name, but she was his cubicle room mate; shared an office with him, I got the impression she had known him in this office setting for quite a few years. And what she said basically was that he was unpredictable, always up to something crazy or weird. In a word or two…an out of control goof ball. This was leading up to the 2016 election. She was kind of shocked and a bit horrified that he’d been tapped to lead the US National Security Administration. Yikes! That phone interview—believe it was on Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now show—stuck with me; one of trump’s first of many dangerous bone headed appointments.

Once again I am rendered speechless Steve. I knew Mike Flynn was dangerous but I had no idea of the depths of his depravity and what all he was planning going forward.

Thanks, too, for the information re: "Against all Enemies". I just now rented it and intend to watch it. After reading the comment section on your YouTube post I was quite heartened to see many supportive comments from our Vets. Not all have gone to the dark side of MAGA extremism thank God. After 9 years of Trumpism I think I am finally understanding his appeal, especially to men. Your conversation with Mr. Sader (sp?) was especially illuminating in that area.

Thank you Steve for a terrifying but much needed to be heard post!! Welcome home by the way!! Great to have you back safe and sound!!
