Harris-Walz will reset our national dial towards normalcy

Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Waltz offer America an amazing opportunity to reset our national dial towards NORMALCY. We should take it.

The imploding MAGA ticket has reached a desperate hour. JD Vance’s flop sweat can be smelled across the country, where it wafts through screens big and small as the American people recoil from the worst politician to ever be nominated by either party.

Here was JD Vance the other day at a rally saying that Vice President Harris can “go to hell,” while his fascist master desecrated Arlington National Cemetery. His campaign assaulted a patriotic American who attempted to stop them from pissing on the graves of our war dead buried in our most hallowed soil:

Each day will bring new insanities and outrageous conduct from Donald Trump. It is easy sometimes to laugh at his clownishness and complete asininity, but it is important to pay attention. He is a most dangerous man.

All before 10 am on Wednesday morning, he had posted or re-posted the following on Truth Social:

There is something that you should share with your friends and family. There has never been a demagogue who chased political power promising to imprison or kill people, who didn’t deliver when getting it. Ever.

When I began The Warning my goal was to help readers orient to what is happening in the country through observations that blended a connection between current and historical events. My goal in doing so was to help people decide something for themselves, and ultimately take actions in defense of something deeply precious we all share as Americans: freedom.

I don’t know about you, but when I walk around almost anywhere a tremendous percentage of people have their heads buried in their phones. Most have lost the ability to walk a straight line on a sidewalk, and many seem utterly oblivious about anything or anyone not on their screen.

I visited a place in Munich yesterday that I have visited before. I wanted to show my son because it had made such a big impact on me. I wanted him to see it for himself, and hopefully get what I was trying to teach him, which was about the importance of seeing things for what they are, as they are, and being immunized from the lies that says the monster in front of you is harmless. I’ve written about this place before:

Many decades after the end of World War II, when Nazism had been erased from Germany and the swastikas made illegal, someone looked up one day at a museum in Munich called the Haus der Kunst (“House of Art”). The Nazis used it to display examples of “Jewish” and other degenerate art. The museum survived the war.

When they did, they were astonished. How could so many years have passed without anyone noticing what had hung over their heads. Obliviousness did not mean it wasn’t there.

A few weeks ago, CNN clown Scott Jennings became emotional, along with David Urban, before Trump delivered the longest and most boring convention speech in history. Both of them talked about Trump and the great personal and spiritual awakening that his near-death experience triggered.

It was all nonsense that should never have been on a news network because it’s not news. It’s propaganda.

Do you know what’s not propaganda, and is news?

Donald Trump says he wants to imprison and kill a lot of Americans.

We should talk about that more. Shouldn’t we?
