It's needed to counter the constant mainstream media declarations that he is, to shine some light on alternatives and how to achieve a different outcome. They need to be called out and made accountable, but what about the others in our country that are doing such good and are lost in “the noise”? We don’t hear enough about Biden’s great accomplishments. I think this adds to the apathy people feel, as you say.
