I took the day off from writing today as we explore Nova Scotia, Canada, on a road trip. My stepson goes to school in Halifax, and so my wife, youngest daughter, Tucker, Mabel and I met up with him and my in-laws here. Our visit coincided with the recent publication of this The Wall Street Journal article entitled “Forget the Hamptons. Why In-the-Know Travelers Are Road-Tripping in Nova Scotia.” If you haven’t ever visited, I’d encourage you to go. It is simply stunning!
We started off the day very early because Mabel is an early riser. When she looks at you like this though, how can you get annoyed?
We visited Peggy’s Cove, and enjoyed the most delicious lobster rolls, and took in the picturesque views:
Tucker, our Black Lab, can’t get enough of the water, so he’s been swimming a lot, including this morning at the Halifax waterfront:
Well, sure. It’s Canada. What’s not to love?.❤️🇨🇦. Enjoy!
Beautiful pictures, nice that you have such a wonderful family, you deserve the time away with them. Please have a safe trip home.
