Biden with the new immunity power now confiscates starlink as it is a threat the national security, and is helping the russians, he then revokes the space x contracts instead redirecting the money to Nasa where it properly belongs; there is no mandate to get the moon or mars sooner than later, and the same brain trust working instead for Nasa can still accomplish those goals.

There is enough evidence to remove these assets from Musk on security issues and effectively neutering him; come on Joe, lets breaks some rules like others do.

Indifference is Schumers middle name...unless it involves the genocidal violence against the Palestinians by his favorite team called Netanyahu. Also, they just reupped the same elderly leaders that caused this effing catastrophe...the only party that surrendered to fascism in the 250 years of this nation. Congratulations Chuck, Nancy, Durbin, and Prez Biden. Great job.

D.O. Great comment. Somebody wake up Biden and tell him the nation is on fire. He should have stepped down in year two, but he was not thinking clearly, or maybe not thinking at all. If you are not embarrassed, go back and watch the debate. This would have given Harris a longer on-ramp.

Biden could have declared a national emergency given that we were under attack by a dictator, who attempted a coup.

He could still do that.

And given the overthrow of the SC, Biden cold have, and still could do now, add four justices to the Supreme Court, without any hearings. And tell the winners to fuck off.

Joe won't cancel anybody contracts because MAGA, ingeniously has sent a message that they will crucify his son if Joe steps out of line. The same message was sent to the omeaba Garland. I wish it weren't so but the gangsters hold all the cards.

For all the talk about how we’re a nation of laws, how is it there is no law against someone spending $250 million to buy an election, and then horse-collaring Congress? Also, is anyone anywhere taking a deep dive into how that money was spent? All of it legal? For all the talk for four years about “the election was rigged,” I believe it was this time. I’d love to be disabused of that. Anyone?

Excellent question. Maybe it’s time to put a limit on how much can be spent per Personen an election. It’s gotten out of control.i get literally 50 or more requests every single day!

Elon Musk….. At about 4:00 am (time for a diaper change or feeding?) the man boy commences a tweet storm, awakens the “adults” in the House, they scurry to appease the spoiled brat and his playmate little Donny, both who remain inconsolable and demanding. A hodgepodge of Kakistocracy, Oligarchy, Idiocracy, and Infantocracy in the county forges ahead, leaving ever more unimaginable turmoil and destruction in their wake. Will they wish us all, “Happy Holidays”

Yes, the malevolent money class of Musk that seeks to destroy us. The only country on earth with a wealth concentration equal to our own is Russia. Is that what we aspire to? Welcome to Amerika.

Here's a simple fact: Billionaires are wrecking this country. They've bought our newspapers and television and radio stations for starters. Under the canopy of a benign and complicit press, Billionaires have funnelled their argents onto the Supreme Court who now do their bidding. They engineered the removal of legal restrictions on campaign financing, opening the floodgates of cash used to purchase politicians. They are busy dismantling our democracy is by eradicating the power of the vote, by refusing to control cheating in drawing district boundaries. If that were not enough, they have also aided the systematic purging of voters and voter rolls that pillage our right to vote.

We have actual living proof that unlimited wealth creates monsters who aim to destroy our democracy. Recent election provide two splendid examples in Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, the one a puppeteer manipulating Trump, the other constructing a US Senator out of manure.

A major cause of this mischief is the maniacally twisted financial systems in our country. they provide the mechanisms that enable the accumulation of vast wealth by fools, rascals, and quarterbacks. How vast? It is hard to grasp the practical power wielded by a billion dollars. Our Supreme Court gave Elon Musk the power to distribute millions of dollars to encourage people to register to vote, and 250 million to purchase door to door canvassing, all expended in the final weeks and days of a presidential campaign. And countless other millions hidden from sight, for whatever. Did the vast wealth of this one individual, in his way charismatic and dedicated, influence the election?

What kind of fools are we to allow this to happen? Why, we can't even bring to justice a sitting president that uses force in an attempt to stop a peaceful transfer of power, or get a corrupt, mean-spirited, dishonest Supreme Court Justice removed for cause, much less two of them. There seems to be no limit to our folly. RFK Jr, instead of being hustled out of the building as if he were Caligula's horse, is being seriously interviewed for a Cabinet position by grown men and women, our political leaders.

I still watch, punish them if you want but where does that get you? MSNBC is really the only network that tells us like it is besides PBS ! Everyone is entitled to do something stupid, so they made a mistake. Trump is an ash—- on steroids and he thinks he’s king of the World and so does Musk. Let them have an old fashioned shoot out. They‘re both unbearable and there are millions of stupid Americans who voted for Trump just like last time. They seem to have to learn the hard way and drag us down with them. Cheating during this election would not surprise me in the least, Trump hasn’t an honest bone in his body and Musk paid hundreds of millions to get him elected. Is this how elections are done now? Basically it’s cheating.

Yesterday, I listened to my paralegal, who earns $70,000 and just voted for Trump tell me that those on the extreme left desire that there be no “rich people,” which she described as meaning that they are “Communists.” An office is not really a place to hold these discussions, but it was clear the she had too much of the Kool Aid. She feels sorry for Musk and Trump, so she voted against her own interests to “protect” their right to continue to be rich. What I did tell her is that not only am I not against rich people, but I believe we need people to feel that they have the opportunity to develop and sell all of the things that made us the greatest country on Earth. I also told her that you can be a greedy bastard like Musk and still understand the logic that there is only so much you can take from the 99.9% and only so much crap you can pile on top of them before there is no more to take and they begin to fight back. I told her that the shift of wealth to the top of one-half of one percent is immoral and not sustainable, and that people like Musk and Trump, through their corporations have turned this country into an Oligarchy, and that none of rich people she is worried about or her own legislators are worried about her. I guess she will figure that out when she realizes that what she made investing in Coinbase with $50 didn’t pay for her eggs at the grocery store.

Oh stop blaming Biden how ridiculous! There is nothing wrong with him ! You should be so lucky to be as good a person as he is and stop blaming his age. Trump is the one who is showing signs of dementia not Biden who just got a clean bill of health. I am sick of you nasty people making age issues just because he’s in his 80‘s people in their 50‘s can be worse. This country has no respect for people over 65! I hope when you get older you find out how being treated with so little respect just because of a number feels!

At one time we had a group of Senators that were called the Lions of the Senate the last one to roar was Senator John Mcain. What was it that made them so powerful? It was that they for the most part spoke truth to power, they stood their ground, they were not afraid to go against their own party when it was called for.

As I listen and have many concerns I keep wondering who among the Senators or Congress is going to step up and roar. Hold that ground for the people. I saw one man standing up to Misk/45, Chip Roy, while I disagree with him 99 percent of the time he got up and roared. He held his ground publicly. More or less told them where to go. We need people to stand up. A speaker that would stand up and hold to what is right not an ideology.

This country is napping while we hurdling toward the abyss. Who made Musk an expert of anything & able to throw his weight around without carrying any to the discussion except his butcher knife to cut taxes for his wealthy billionaires club members. Every time Republicans gain power the old “less government” refrain is heard. Fewer regulations, leave it to the states to decide. Yet, We the people are more affected by their government diet argument because tax cuts never seem to trickle down to us. Maybe it’s the Prostate effect of the old men running our lives. A whole lot of shaking going on; but only dribbles & pain for us.

Elon Musk is a weirdo among weirdos. He is a man who thinks we should colonize Mars with his descendants, generously offering his sperm to impregnate women willing to create Martian colonists. He also has proposed building a tunnel under the Atlantic Ocean connecting NYC to London with a travel time of 20 minutes. And, this lunatic will soon be acting president of the United States, with the hapless Trump cast as court jester. Then, we will face secular Armegeddon.

Expand full comment

What I posted sounds so propesterous, I feel I should cite my sources:

"Elon Musk has volunteered to donate his sperm to help colonize Mars as SpaceX continues to work towards its goal of reaching the planet.

Musk, 53, has told SpaceX employees over the last year to begin putting together the design and details of a city on Mars, according to a report in The News York Times. The plans include dome habitats for residents and spacesuits to protect against the conditions on Mars. A medical team is also working to determine if residents could have children there.

Musk has expressed an interest in creating his own species on the planet, the Times reported. Those plans could involve Musk using his sperm to help seed a colony."

https://www.the-independent.com/travel/americas/musk-mars-sperm-spacex-b2578250.html

"Elon Musk has reignited global fascination with the idea of a transatlantic tunnel by proposing that his company, The Boring Company, could construct the ambitious undersea connection between New York City and London for $20 billion. The concept, which has long been dismissed due to astronomical costs and technical hurdles, is back in the spotlight as Musk combines advancements in tunneling technology with his revolutionary Hyperloop transportation system.

The proposed tunnel would stretch over 3,000 miles (4,800 kilometers) under the Atlantic Ocean and theoretically enable high-speed travel between the United States and the United Kingdom in under one hour. This comes in stark contrast to the eight hours a conventional flight currently takes.

During a recent discussion, Musk claimed that The Boring Company could achieve the project for a fraction of previous estimates, which once hovered around $19.8 trillion. “We can rethink how we build and scale infrastructure,” Musk said, citing innovative tunneling techniques, automation, and cost-effective materials as critical factors in slashing costs.

Central to Musk’s proposal is Hyperloop technology, a futuristic mode of transportation involving vacuum-sealed tunnels and magnetic levitation (maglev), which allows pods to travel at speeds exceeding 3,000 mph. This would dramatically reduce travel time and revolutionize intercontinental connectivity."
