Elon Musk should be judged on his words
PLUS: Inside Donald Trump's plan to destroy democracy if he wins the 2024 election
There seems to be a mutuality of obliviousness and a cosmic lack of self-awareness shared by many individuals who make up the small but powerful caste of America’s most elite takers, enablers and opportunists. Always, they are the victims. Always.
Elon Musk has become the richest man in the world without revealing himself fully. The mask has dropped now. He is an antisemite. He should be judged on his words, which make clear his hate, in an X post on Wednesday:
What he said out loud was the final declaration of hate made by the Tree of Life synagogue killer. From the BBC:
It appeared to be an endorsement of a racist and antisemitic conspiracy theory known as "white genocide," which argues that Jewish people systematically plot to encourage immigration of "non-white" people to Western countries in order to "eliminate" the white race.
Elon Musk hates the Jews, and holds them responsible for importing millions of society-destroying minorities into the United States. It is a sick and un-American smear, but he has made it.
His oblivious and indifferent CEO continues to scramble in defense of the indefensible. Her $6 million-dollar salary demands that she whitewash her boss’ Jew hate, and try to convince the public that his digital town square isn’t a dark corner across from the burned out synagogue in 1938 Berlin.
On Thursday, Media Matters, a media watchdog group, reported that X has been placing ads for major brands like Apple, IBM and NBCUniversal shoulder to shoulder with content that touts Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.
Media Matters has refuted the untruths and empty commitments of Musk’s digital Goebbels, who promised advertisers that their ads wouldn’t show up next to Nazi posts. In a CNBC interview in August 2023, Linda Yaccarino said that:
Brands are now protected from the risk of being next to potentially toxic content, She added that if content is “lawful but awful” it’s difficult to remove it from the platform, but that the company’s new content controls would reduce advertiser risk.
What America’s soulless brands and morally vacant C-suites are coming to finally understand is that being in business with X is no different than Adidas being in business with Kanye West — with the possible exception being that Adidas collaborated with Third Reich Nazis before they went into business with a mentally ill, antisemitic rapper.
What America’s companies have figured out, maybe, is that Yaccarino thought wrong was close to being right. Simply being on X places you side by side with an army of digital Nazis. “Sieg Heil,” and goodbye!
Of course, this has infuriated the second most petulant man in America, who like the most petulant, loves himself a bullying lawsuit, where he can abuse the courts and argue up is down and down is up. Such idiocy appears barreling skyward — unless it implodes like a Space X rocket. The great champion of free speech apparently has found another loophole for him to stifle it.
Elon Musk doesn’t care about free speech. He cares about antisemitism. It’s what he believes. The threat to speech, as it turns out, is the reporting of fact matters by an organization like Media Matters.
Below is Musk’s incoherence wrapped in a litigation threat in a post on X yesterday:
Twitter was destroyed by Elon Musk, who changed the company name to X, and turned it into an antisemitic pit. He is a shameful man who runs a shameful company. Its collapse will be a joy to watch.
This week on The Warning podcast
I sat down with Katherine Stewart, an investigative reporter and author who has covered religious liberty, politics, policy, and education for over a decade. Her latest book, THE POWER WORSHIPPERS: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Religious Nationalism, is a rare look inside the machinery of the movement that brought Donald Trump to power. Her journalism appears in The New York Times, NBC, the New Republic, and The New York Review of Books. We talked about Project 2025, a plan by Donald Trump and his loyalists to tear down the American structure of government if his wins the 2024 election. Here’s a brief segment from our conversation:

Musk is South African and was granted the blessings of our country when he emigrated here. He seems to have a fixation with the letter X. One of his other businesses is Space X. Speaking of which, why is the US doing business with it? My tax dollars shouldn’t be used to enrich this low life!
Ironic, how Musk, an “avid” defender of free speech, consistently censors free speech and is now suing Media Matters over their free speech rights.
Is it me, or is there a pattern developing between fascists like Trump and Musk, and the Christian version of Sharia Law messianic morons?
The religious wing-nuts continually hide behind the veil of free speech; their right to discriminate based on their belief system , while systematically refusing to acknowledge the LGBTQ community’s, or any other religion but their own; right’s to exist or live in peace.
All while Trump, Musk and the rest of the fascist authoritarian kleptocrats refuse to allow dissent on their platforms or used against them.
Truth matters, but what is truth? Is it perception or reality? Or worse, whatever the fascists want it to be!
As David Foster Wallace profoundly said:
“The truth will set you free. But not until its finish with you!”
Happy Sunday, all!...:)
