Trump's hysterical, bloviating and preposterous pledge to be the 'protector' of American women is a gaslight invitation for them to embrace his custom-tailored Stockholm Syndrome. It also has to be right up there with the very biggest of the Big Lies, rivaling anything proffered from his role model Adolf. That a legally-adjudicated rapist, instigator of the abolition of Roe (who now has the blood of at least two women on his tiny hands) and perpetrator par excellence of default pandemic democide that wantonly and otherwise avoidably killed tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of American women would now claim to be the master of American women's uteruses is rebarbative beyond imagination.

Right On! May women (and men) help drive Trump and the current GOP right over the cliff.

Now that Trump has made it abundantly clear that he’s going after Haitians, who is next? Jews? Political opponents (‘enemies’)? Transgenders? The tattooing of ID numbers on the arms of immigrants? Call it ‘unhinged’ or the rants of a madman. Either way, we're heading ever closer toward ethnic cleansing.

Yep, it's an extremely slippery slope to "other" being whoever they want it to be.

Next enemy: real human beings. Trump is the apotheosis of racism, the ultimate racist -- the implacable, psychopathic predator upon the human race.

Yes, and Trump's continual calls for violence DO result in school shootings where little kids who are supposed to be SAFE in school are blown apart by angry people with military grade weapons. School is the only 'safe' place some kids have. Persevere!

In the clip is a young Black man at the rally - seen in the lower right corner of the screen. Why was he there? He didn't shout "send them back" - was he afraid for his life? As I looked at all those people I wondered who is descended from Native Americans? If not, will they too be sent back tho' their skin appears to be his preferred color of race representation? My heart is racing as it was when in Charlottesville, they shouted "Jews will not replace us" and I fear too. I thought of my Japanese-American friends who descend from families sent to internment camps during WWII. I thought of George Takei who was IN an internment camp.

The MAGA cult terrifies me. I can't leave the country if the very worst happens: he and all the MAGA-connected office seekers and holders are elected or remain. (spit spit) It's the hate, the literal lack of knowledge despite education - Moreno in Ohio (Sherrod Brown MUST be returned to the Senate) who doesn't understand why women older than 50 care about abortion. Clearly he doesn't know women can get pregnant at that age; that they care about others - oh wait.. that's it: there is no empathy or care of others.

Please, Steve, let your words continue to influence. May all of us do all we can for every office where we are and nationally to elect Democrats. I refuse to believe my friends and I will suffer what my grandparents (z"l) did when they were forced to escape Pogroms.

Trump has already put a target on the Jews back should he lose. Not only once, but on two occasions before Jewish groups including one on antisemitism, he essentially claimed that Jews would be responsible should he lose. Perhaps he would be satisfied just sending Jews back to somewhere else as well. The horror of these statements needs repeated news coverage!

Our tiny synagogue on the Saturday morning of the Unite the Right Rally, was threatened by a parade of American Nazis waving Swastika flags and holding assault rifles. The Torah had been removed the day before but there were worshippers inside the synagogue. The local police refused to respond to pleas to deal with these stalkers and people were ushered out a side door. After that weekend, the synagogue was permanently locked and a keypad was installed . A security guard was hired and members pay $250 yearly extra for this protection. We will never forget the trauma of that weekend. Many people from the community, of all faiths, came to show their support for us. We were traumatized.

Sharon, I'm so sorry you and your synagogue community went through what you've described. We are not a trauma-informed society. We need to be. May you all find a safe place to heal and to feel safe again. Sadly, we'll see more violence. Take best of care.

America’s dumb fascist GOP witches, her ignorant rubes, her aggrieved white dudes, cult-prone lemmings and IQ-challenged conspiracy theorists will always exist. They are the ugly underside of humanity.

Do deep dive on rise and fall of Adolf Hitler and you’ll see one compelling overlay after another with Trumpler. The self-delusion, lies about societies’ most marginalized, lies about themselves, tacky self-promotion (Adolf used postcards, Trumpler uses digital trading cards), lack of friends, awkward social behaviors, their insurrectionist approach to power, manipulation of masses using the latest technologies (Adolf used radio, Trumpler social media), their ability to attract powerful and seemingly smart people whose spines are eagerly checked at the door, the scam- posing as another whilst showering fake compliments at their alter-ego (Trumpler posed as “John Barron,” a Trump publicist, Adolf penned bio-epic of himself under a pen name), the sick obsessive self unhappiness, misogynist abusers of women, a strange dislike of pets, no drinking, no smoking, no driving, the paranoia - all of these characteristics serve to remind us. If don’t study and learn from history, the very same, the darkest, the ugliest of human tumors will rise up in epically more dangerous outcomes for all.

Let’s vote the bellowing, damn, oily-orange mother-fucker and his cadre of dopey, toxic, dangerous, ignorant, tone-deaf, corrupt fascists out with a never-before-seen massive NOVEMBER BLUENAMI.

The reason that Trump has the support of so many people is because they are also liars, cheaters, and self-centered individuals. They can't tell truth from lies, righteousness from evil, and immoral from moral. They are good voting for a man who thinks it is OK to grab women in their private parts. Well then, don't complain if that happens to you or your daughter or grand daughters, your vote for Trump already gave your approval for that behavior.

Republican voters feel right at home with his lying to them and cheating them. Birds of a Feather ( not to insult the birds). They are too dumb to realize that they are voting against DEMOCRACY itself.

Today I read that Bernie Moreno, who is running against Sherrod Brown, is saying "why should women over fifty care about abortion?" What an idiot, that he doesn't realize the we have daughters and granddaughters that want and may need to be able to get the health care that they need, even if without it they might die. That is indicative of how selfish the Republican mindset is that they only care about themselves and no one else, not even their own younger female family members. Does he really think that an older woman like myself doesn't care about the generations of women coming after me? Really Bernie Moreno, can you be that stupid? I guess so, along with millions of other Republican voters voting for Trump.

Such a life on such a planet.

The Donald? Nah, more like "The MFer". Everything about this POS is disgusting, vile, and oozing with contempt and hate. A lot of unsettled nights between now and November 5th. And who knows how cataclysmically fucked up it will be whether he wins or loses. If he loses, at least some guardrails are still in place, imperfect as they are. I don't even want to think about if he wins scenario.

I went out for dinner with three good friends on Sunday. The subject of Trump inevitably arose, and I explained how I have adopted the practice of trying to think about something, anything, one good thing regarding people I really don’t like. Maybe they’re total assholes at work but good and loving parents. Maybe they hate cats but adopt pound dogs badly in need of homes and seem to love them very much. I dig deep looking for some redeemable quality, anything, and until now I’ve always been able to isolate something. Trump is the only person who I draw a complete blank on. I asked my dinner partners if they could succeed where I failed and identify just one admirable trait about him. Crickets. No one could think of anything. Maybe someone here can? He helps keeps workers at companies that make adult diapers employed?

I fear the aftermath. There is no question that regardless of numbers, MAGA will challenge every election they do not appear to have won. If outcomes appear, by popular vote, to be close, it will be a long time until we know. And I do not trust the states' electors or the MAGAts in Congress - esp. the possibility of the new Congress make up - to not do what wasn't done in 2021. I don't want to think about it and yet there's this fear ..................

When Charles Dickens made his first visit to the United States in 1842, he knew we were a slave-owning country, but he was not prepared for what he witnessed. He was utterly and thoroughly shocked and appalled, and actually witnessed a child being wrested from his mother being sent to a sale of humans.

I don’t think you’re as great a country as you think you are — that is what he said. After witnessing people chanting “send them back” I fully understand what Dickens said.

My heart is still racing long after hearing it. It's like Charlottesville. What makes people hate so much or do they even have any idea? Do they know who builds houses? Picks their food and processes it? Do they have any idea, if the humanity of it all doesn't matter to them, of the economic impact we'll experience?

When Chump came to Wilmington, North Carolina last weekend, I paid attention to it. It was held at the airport. Basically, the plane came in, parked, and you had a group there on the tarmac. It was not a large crowd — a good thing.

But the people were very creepy. They mostly all dress in this exaggerated devotion. Like a walking yard sign, yet battery-powered and lit like neon. Why the garish projection? These don’t seem to be normal people.

So my hope is — given it seemed like a small high school pep rally — that this is a small clique that will not hold sway.

Yep he's unhinged and so are his crazy followers..Ugly people wanting to hurt people .. If he wins in November I have no doubt that we are in for dark times.. I think that if there are no checks on his power and he acts on the 2025 plan we may have to form something akin to the French undeground in WW11 .. I will be one of the first to sign up ..Age didn't matter then and it won't matter now. Who are these people ? Where did they come from ? Horrible !!!!

Also, I generally like our Governor here in Colorado, Jared Polis Once in a while I don't support something he's done. However, this latest comment he had regarding Trump wanting to come to Aurora, CO for a rally because of the 'hordes of illegal invading Venezuelan gang members' . . . "if the president comes, I hope he doesn't bring him (sic) an element of lawlessness or people that are causing trouble. Obviously, we welcome anybody to the city of Aurora, to Colorado, but obviously, we worry about some of the criminal elements that he brings with him, he's a convicted felon himself, and a lot of people who associate with him might engage in acts of terror against the residents of Aurora," said Polis.

Hello Steve,

This is the time for Liz Cheney

To have her new party in place

Unfortunately she has not moved fast enough.

Voting as a patriot-Country before Party for Kamala Harris is the best many Republicans will do. Leaving The Republican Maga, Insurrectionists, Election deniers behind forming a new government party or a coalition government if they had the courage.

Unfortunately, we are running out of ⌛️.

Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger should have initiated, or formed a new party a long time ago.

We are all suffering with The Heritage Foundation-Donald Trump -With project 2025 under our feet.

My only solution with last night’s thinking is for us Democrats to also mention in our tomorrow’s rallies a welcome to all Republicans that have taken the step to put Country before Politics as patriots in voting for Kamala Harris. In leaving our differences in policies behind us.

Making the correct decision now together we will be rid of Donald Trump, Election Deniers, with the insurrectionists.

This is the only opportunity I see as we run out of time.

Donald Trump -J.D.Vance will turn the aggression one step further with another insurrection. Especially now as the police force has endorsed him. He will be given extra assistance..

Have we all gone to sleep? Or are we just frightened to look at reality?

Respectively Yours

Angela Walker
