Can you please work closely with the Biden campaign? Perhaps you already are. I want you on his team, in the war room, now.

I’ve been highly critical of Democrats for their meh… saging… but I think POTUS is really bringing it on and not backing down from a fight. He instantly had an ad to attack TFG on Roe v. Wade and directly blame TFG for post-Roe chaos. He gave one of the best SOTU speeches if not the best SOTU speech ever. He’s 80’s, and he’s out there fighting the good fight. He has injected a lot of energy into this campaign. And that’s not an easy thing to do. Democrats are somewhat timid when they campaign. It’s like they are playing prevent defense.

With TFG falling asleep yesterday during his trial, I am going to bet that the Biden-Harris campaign will be pouncing and pounding on this.

Never underestimate Joe Biden.

I’m loving the no-drama Biden team and can’t wait till this rapist and con man is put away.

I receive 10-20 Dem emails daily, begging for money. The messaging is weak. I often reply to their "feedback reply" and urge them to take the gloves off. Who in hell is in charge here? Dereliction.

Colin Allred is running against Ted Cruz but his fund raising ad copy is weak. Almost like he doesn't want to beat this idiot. Cruz is the most hated Senator because he stabs everyone in the back. Even himself! If Colin really wants the job he should be slamming Cruz with his slimy fealty to Trump. Hang Trump around his neck! Frustrating. For example:

"But far-right extremists like Ted Cruz are trying to take us backward: They’ve pushed voter suppression laws that make it harder for certain folks to vote and even attempted to overturn an election. They think politicians should pick their voters instead of the other way around.

But I believe our government should reflect the people it represents.

So, yes. My route to the U.S. Senate may not be your typical one – but I'm proud of that. And if you stand with me, I know we can defeat Ted Cruz and give Texans the leadership we deserve."

This is way too nice. How about, "Ted Cruz is the most dishonorable piece of shit in the Senate. Trump insulted his wife and father and came crawling back and kissed Don's ass. He is an embarrassment in DC and must be defeated. With your financial help, I can beat him. Send money."

Maybe if more of us pounded on the Dem doors, they might wake up.

Couldn’t agree more. Dems need to shed their compulsive addiction to “dignity” and open a firehose of mockery on a loser who can dish it out but really, really can’t take it. AOC, Jared Moskowitz, Jasmine Crockett, Jamie Raskin, Dan Goldman - these are just a few of those with the appropriate skill sets (anybody else missing Al Franken?). It’d be both effective and delicious to see Dolt 45 hoist by his own petard.

He is a sad man, who lost his way a long time ago. If you have no perspective on life and you do not know how to be humble, all is lost. He is simply . . . Pompous, Self-absorbed, Self-centered, Self-important and Selfish. This is not a leader, he is lost man.

I have to wonder where Biden's campaign people came from. For someone who has held political office for so long, you would think that he would have been able to put together a much more aggressive and effective communications and campaign team.

"What fool would ever give this deranged old man political power?"

The Dunning-Kruger belligerent, loud fools and foils that dominate social media posts. Those that uncritically parrot the voices of dissembling influencers. There's no shortage of malevolent motivators that understand full well how to command the attention and respect of gullible gmokes.

I agree with Steve that Joe is getting better at responding. His off-handed humorous pokes are landing. I hope he doubles down on this method. Perhaps Team Biden should employ professional comedy writers.

I just read that the mentally ill Cari Lake says to strap on a Glock in preparation for the coming election. Can’t this woman get some mental health care.

Why are there so many unfit people elected to office? Is it a reflection as to the vastness of our moral decay as a nation or has politics simple become a magnet for the mentally ill.

Competence and fitness for a position in government seems to an outdated concept. There just are so many maladjusted stupid people in Congress these days. Even the Supreme Court bar of competence has been significantly lowered.

Good question Steve, “what fool would give him power”? Problem is there are millions of other fools willing to give it to him… and an electoral college to put nails in our electoral coffins!!

Beautiful essay on this pathetic shell of a so-called man. So my ask is this - contact the Biden campaign immediately! They need you on the team! Please!

Steve, you have made excellent points by surmising what trump does in the after hours of his private life, and you are probably bang on in your assumption. You obviously have the knowledge and experience to have put together this picture of the lonely man, but my recurring thought is that you’re preaching to the converted. As a foreigner looking in on the political scene in your country, I continue to scratch my head and wonder how you can take your important message to those who really need to hear it. It may be difficult to re-engage with your former colleagues, but there must be other options to widen your impact in this important election. I’ve already suggested collaboration with the Biden team, but beyond that I’m at a loss to find the most appropriate vehicle to achieve that goal.

"This is an image of an angry old man. . . What else do you see?"

A guy who forgot to put bronzer on his tiny hands.

I see an angry man, yes, but even more so, a man with a deep disorder, a man who by the nature of this disorder cannot emphasize with others, lacks a healthy sense of shame, aggrandizes himself, attacks others, throws tantrums, has no boundaries, lies, a man who cannot reason in a healthful manner therefore commits one act of irrationality after the next.

If only he could step off the the toxic mental/emotional feedback loop he's in and have an epiphany: I am sick and I need help.

I'm still waiting for his lawyers to plead a new defense, Narcissistic Personality Disorder Syndrome. (But I really don't like to do the Defense's work for them, not that Trump would let them do that.)

And the other thing I see: half the voting citizens in our country are "Flying Monkeys" to Trump's "Wicked Witch of the West" behavior, which is consistent with this dysfunctional phenomenon we're all witnessing.

How exhausting it all is and how tragic that we all must suffer through this until we cast our votes in November, (and perhaps thereafter).

Until then, yes, mock him, embarrass him. We can't give up the country to a sick intractable man for the sake of good manners.
