l wrote about Ron DeSantis’ collapsing presidential campaign yesterday. The media keeps suggesting that DeSantis needs to unleash his “secret weapon” — Casey, his wife. There's nothing uglier than a woman who professes to care about "your" children, but then doesn't show care for other less fortunate children. There seems to be a plethora of those kind of women in the GOP.
And don’t forget the male voters in the GOP that don’t give a damn about the children born, to the very poor or rape victims bc they couldn’t get an abortion. They don’t care about the near death experience & suffering women endure to deliver a dead fetus.
Ron and Casey DeSantis = ambitious, vicious, plastic, cult-leaders and lunatics whose own children will need deprogramming from their insanity. They care nothing for any children or anyone. Well done, Steve. Thank you!
I’m sure that I’m not the only one that finds this ironic. Two self-envisioned strong mean duking but out to be our first presidential dictator. It would be a best case scenario if they would both devour each other and disappear into the bowels of history. But alas, we have to contend with these 2 con men for the foreseeable future. Spread the word- tRump and Ron DeFascist are aspiring authoritarians who have nothing but fear, contempt, and loathing for American democracy and the American people. We must find a way to reform our democracy so that low life scum likes of these two don’t use the structure of democracy to attain power and then destroy democracy.

I read somewhere months ago that she thinks he is God on Earth. I love my husband, but I would never say I think he is God. Way too much pressure. 🤣🤣
But unlike DeSantis, my husband would just laugh if I said anything like so ridiculous about him. The problem with DeSantis and his wife? A deeply rooted adherence to the fact that they both believe it, they live it, and they expect to be treated as such.
There’s absolutely nothing Trump won’t do in his attempt to acquire power! Nothing! Voters must throw up a roadblock to his authoritarian movement! Mealy mouth Republicans must grow a spine too!
I know this does not pertain to Steve’s brilliant essay and I apologize right now. During trumps presidency(?)he seized his physician’s records (stormed in the doctors office early that morning)! And took away all the Trump medical records. He demonstrated the harnessed power he had back then and it is just another thing he was never held accountable for. My point being the new republican plan to install for unilateral sake power to one person. So now many states are looking at what’s happening with the medical records that were seized recently by the state attorney general’s office concerning the trans community. Trump set all this up with what he’s gotten away with. He set the example. This is the starting story on Rachael Maddow tonight. I think trump is setting things up for the next coup. Just to mix things up a little more. A third party candidate could swing it in trump’s favor. It always seems like one step forward and two steps back. Personally I’m getting very tired of wringing my hands month after month but it doesn’t seem to ever change during this historic period we’re living through. So much easier to read about it in a chapter of a book. So much more aggravating to live it each day.
Casey and Desatan are non starters for sure. Despicable man. Used state funds I’ll wager for campaign and now blew through it. Interesting he had law changed so he could retain role as governor and make a White House Run concurrently. At least he has a job. Suppose Floridians “get” him. I do not!
