Donald Trump became a household name after starring in NBC's "The Apprentice," which was one of the primary reasons why he's been able to find success in politics. Earlier today, I sat down with John Miller, former NBC head of marketing, to discuss what went down behind the scenes of "The Apprentice," and how it has impacted the current political landscape in America. He also wrote this op-ed to share his views on how NBC created a “monster.”
The show has run its course, and all the money has been made. Now this guys comes out to tell us it was all a big fat lie. I got news for ya pal, we knew it was BS at the get go. But hey, thanks for helping to create this monster and unleashing him on the American psyche. You score no points here sir.
While I applaud the belated honesty, I wonder where he’s been over the last 10 years. Somehow, he should pay for the misery he enabled.
