Here’s a quote from Trump’s speech tonight: “We are a nation in decline. And now these radical left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using law enforcement. We can’t let that happen”. HOW PROFOUNDLY STUPID, not to mention, undermining. And to think about the morons in the audience who applauded Trump after saying that. I celebrated Trump’s indictment and if he goes to jail, I’m throwing a party.

Party sounds great. Crab dip and old bay wings.

Understood. Spare yourself from watching that insanity. Between Steve’s remarks today and the one quote I shared, you certainly get the gist. The “wheels are comin’ off the Trump train”....I do believe! And THAT DOES deserve a celebration!!

So TFG is the 'Victim' and is calling for retribution and vengeance! This is a pathetic sight for sure.

The real victims are millions of Americans and their children who will suffer the consequences of DJT's pathetic tantrums. DJT, who lost an election and incited an insurrection, is the ruthless, heartless, grifting-asshole of America. Tim Ryan, on the zoom session (which was astounding and inspiring!) mentioned the need for a 'trauma-informed' society. He has a good idea of what has happened to millions of Americans and for the need to HEAL. DJT just wants more violence. The children with no voice and no choice are the real victims, many of whom will suffer long-term damages from this. I strongly feel that DJT and the GOP, by knowingly perpetuating fear and anger among their 'followers', are inadvertently responsible for significant levels of child abuse in this country, not to mention a million deaths from Covid, and the early deaths and dis-eases caused by years of this insanity. This is pathetic. We are better than this. Thank you, Steve, Ryan, A. Braggs, and all here on this forum!

Yes, glad that Michael Moore weighed in on this. It was a very busy day for me, but i notice that Tom Nichols, editor of The Atlantic Daily newsletter, also discussed this very same phenomenon of DJT and Don Jr's authoritarian intimidation tactics.

I missed the entire show today, and this weekend as a matter of fact. I have been without tv and internet fir 4 days. Still without tv, so, unfortunately I missed how the indicted felon is going to make America great again! What a joke. Fir 4 years he did his best to destroy democracy and the I’m United States as we all know it. Now, he’s trying to undermine our constitution and laws by pulling his crap. He was a sick o in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and up until he was elected. He’s always been a crook. A leopard doesn’t and can’t change its spots!

Stomach it is about right.

Actually, my son came up and found out I have been residing under a local bridge. He spent 4 days finding me an apartment I could survive in. Being disabled has its disadvantages, believe me.

I’m kind of glad I missed all the drama on TV, although I’d love to actually see him sitting at the defendants table, since we tried to put him there in the 80s & 90s. He kept sliding on everything back then because he always had his cronies do all his dirty work. Now all his cronies are turning against him.

Besides, we get a much better version on here afterwards. We get the truth’

Daniel, I'm glad to hear that your circumstances are improving. We must prioritize taking care of ourselves, our families and our communities during these tumultuous times. Watching too much about DJT, I find, is toxic to my system. It is time to heal. I hope you get the chance to listen to the Tim Ryan/Steve zoom session. They talk about the state of our country, including homelessness. Very Best to you, Lisa

Thanks loads, Lisa. I appreciate it a lot. My son had to return to Florida last night so he could be at work today. He’s going to be going in two days with no sleep himself. But I’m okay. This is a nice affordable unit. The people that bought this and 4 other apartment complexes are completely remodeling them. So when they get finished it will be a real nice place. It’s where I can afford the rent, so that’s a plus. Especially with my daughter sticking me with the bill at the older place, which is going to turn into over $5,000 with the mess she left behind.

Daniel, I'm glad that your housing arrangement will be a nice place. I'm in a challenging transition, too, so I understand some of what you're experiencing. I'm doing my best to 'enjoy the journey' (that's not been easy, but each day and each moment matters -Life!) Very best to you! Lisa

Meanwhile, there's an excellent guest essay in the NYTimes tonight by two experts saying D.A. Bragg has a case that is neither "political," "novel," nor "weak," but right in line with a tradition of the Manhattan D.A. prosecuting white-collar criminals like Trump.
