Next weekend scores of millions of Americans will gather together in great cities, small towns and rural villages to stand together for their country against the abominations and miseries of the MAGA fascists.

No MAGATS, you have it backward; if your adoration and worship and blind obedience to one man is greater than your love for your country, its traditional values, and Constitution, you are the problem.
In the past 15 years, Republicans have tried to end Obamacare 70 times. Something that has saved people with pre-existing conditions and helped others avoid financial ruin. I look at what they do, not what they say, and know who hates America.
Trump's increasingly cruel and divisive agenda is working against him. My local paper has had very, very few letters to the editor (usually, none) supportive of Trump and an increasing number of letters critical of him and MAGA. If the protests next Saturday have huge turnouts, it may finally dawn on Republican legislators that support of Trump is hurting them. A sweeping victory by Democratic candidates in the next congressional election is the most likely and peaceful way to begin shaking off the grip that Trump, MAGA, and Christian fascism have on our nation.
Also pray for excellent candidates at all levels who have expressed Democrat supported ideals for governance on behalf of working families, protection for the vulnerable and environmental justice for all.
I’ll be marching as well. That said, for No Kings Day, we’d hate for the fascists to mistake us as unAmerican ANTIFA or some other manufactured domestic terrorist organization.
Therefore, everyone needs to bring an American flag and waive it all day long. Or wear an American flag shirt, or a combination of Red/White/Blue.
Let them try to claim we hate America, or love Hamas and Hezbollah, or shoot tear gas or rubber bullets at actual peace and freedom loving Americans. I dare them. There is nothing more American than exercising our First Amendment rights. Don’t let these fascists steal our symbol for LIBERTY, let’s use it against them!
The irony is that it’s this American Taliban who are destroying our republic, stoking division, and destroying the rule of law.

Lie#2: Trump was not elected "in a big way."
Absurdity: The implication that Trump has a "divine mandate" to carry out his cruel policies.

The American people will show the whole world that it is the hollow men and women — those who tremble at MAGA and their threats — who are not ordinary Americans.
The American spine has never been found on Wall Street or Washington, Silicon Valley, or the most powerful law firms. The heartbeat of America is not heard on the Bezos yacht, or on Trump’s Predator Patio at Mar-a-Lago, or under the yellow umbrellas in the desecrated Rose Garden.

We must get out there. For our self respect as much as anything else. I am 74 with a walker and heart condition and I made the last no kings rally ( and the first). There are rallies at different times of day-- morning rallies in Palm Springs; early evening rallies in Riverside. Find a rally, bring your sign and go. Bring water and courage. For those who ask what is the point: you-you putting your body next to other Americans that care about our democracy. Collective peaceful energy is the point.
