Donald Trump has deployed the US military against the American people in California less than 72 hours after the implosion of his alliance with Elon Musk and Musk’s incendiary charges about Donald’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
For the record, the last time an American president federalized National Guard troops against the wishes of a state governor was in 1965 when President Johnson took the Alabama National Guard away from George Wallace to protect black civil rights protestors.
The situation is very different in Los Angeles.
What the American people are witnessing is Trump and Stephen Miller’s rolling Reichstag fire. We are witnesses to a monstrous lie being used as a pretext to assert power. What we are seeing is what former Defense Secretary Mark Esper stopped cold in 2020 when Trump suggested shooting protesters amid the civil unrest that took place after George Floyd's murder.
Here is what Stephen Miller, no doubt enraged about the humiliation that he has endured at the hands of Elon Musk, who left the White House with his fascist wife, said about what it is happening in California in two posts on X:
An insurrection against the laws and sovereignty of the United States.
And:
This is a violent insurrection.
There is no insurrection, though for the record, the last one started on January 6, 2021. What we are seeing is the assertion of state lawlessness being declared legal. It is an abomination, and all of it rests on a bed of lies.
Donald Trump allowed his team of fascists, which includes the aforementioned Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem and Tom Homan, to provoke a confrontation with a heavy-handed display of jack-booted thuggery that went off the rails just as it was intended.
Can you imagine the ecstasy in the White House when word reached Trump that American flags were being burned by Mexican flag-waving rioters in the city of Paramount, California? There must have been dancing on the tables.
The Trump regime picked the epicenter of the Democratic Party’s most incompetent leaders and corrupt officials — Los Angeles — and instigated a crisis for the purposes of escalating it into a national crisis that allows them to do what Pete Hegseth threatened to do:
Everything that has happened in America since January 20, 2025, has been building to this moment.
Donald has long dreamed of cracking down by cracking heads.
The hour has arrived. Soon the violence will grow as he hopes it will.
Trump’s answer to disorder will be the abuse of power and force to quell the fires that he lit with his anger, rage, thirst for revenge and incessant lying.
Donald wants to turn the land of the free into a police state. He’s been fantasizing about it for years.
The big day has arrived.
Trump scraped the bottom of the federal law enforcement barrel, dressed his goons for war, and then declared one where none existed before.
Are we great again yet?
Let’s all show up to protest on June 14, Donald J Trump’s birthday and the date of his tin-pot dictator parade. Let’s make it massive, to send a strong message to Congress that they’d better wrest back control and start working for the folks that sent them to Washington, or they'll be out of a job in short order. Celebrate NO KINGS DAY with a robust presence in the street. Trump thinks that by sending in the troops and falsely calling an anti-tyranny protest an “insurrection”.he will frighten us into submission to his worst impulses. Let’s show him that WE THE PEOPLE will not be denied our rights to protest under our beloved Constitution.
