Vergogna, vergogna, vergogna!

Lauren Windsor is a documentary filmmaker activist and writer, who went to a Washington reception wearing a wire. There, she met Justice Samuel Alito and his wife Martha-Ann. The results were simultaneously predictable, utterly shocking and evidence of staggering judicial misconduct.

The recordings are genuinely shocking and demonstrate Samuel Alito’s arrogance and recklessness, which are beyond incandescent. Obviously, he feels no qualms whatsoever telling a stranger who approached him that there are two sides, and one of them is going to win. Listen:

On one side or the other — one side or the other is going to win. I don’t know. I mean, there can be a way of working — a way of living together peacefully, but it’s difficult, you know, because there are differences on fundamental things that really can’t be compromised. They really can’t be compromised. So it’s not like you are going to split the difference.

Samuel Alito is unfit to serve on the US Supreme Court, but he will remain there for the rest of his life until his decrepitude finally catches up to his corruption and the betrayal of his constitutional and judicial oaths.

Understanding how radically deranged Samuel Alito has become requires listening to the conversation between Windsor and Chief Justice John Roberts, who demonstrates, dignity, wisdom and political impartiality that is appropriate, but completely jarring next to Alito’s base partisanship:

Samuel Alito, like Clarence Thomas, has been outed by a free media holding power to account.

These stories are of profound importance, and together, they have left Sam Alito standing naked in the public square, fully revealed.

Let’s be perfectly clear about the reality that if any such tape existed, even one that was 99.9% less incendiary, it would have obliterated Samuel Alito’s confirmation chances, and likely would have led to his nomination being pulled by the Bush White House. There is no pleasure that comes from stating an obvious truth, but the nomination of Samuel Alito to life tenure on the US Supreme Court was a disaster only exceeded by the Iraq War during the Bush presidency.

The US Supreme Court has been lit on fire by the arson of its MAGA justices. They have been radicalized into political foot soldiers who wear judicial robes, while shredding the US Constitution with a vile activism that affronts the commitments made by their testimony before the US Senate Judiciary Committee.

Chief Justice Roberts must act.

Martha-Ann Alito, like her husband, is angry, aggrieved and radicalized.

Would anyone like to bet that Robin Givhan of The Washington Post, who is casually smeared by Martha-Ann is going to dispute the phone call that Alito alleges?

I don’t believe any of this happened. Listen:

Martha-Ann believes that Robin Givhan won a Pulitzer Prize for writing about her clothes? The story she is referencing about Jane Roberts had to do with sartorial observations concerning the Roberts’ twins from 20 years ago.

Martha-Ann is aggressive and angry. Very angry. She has contempt for gay Americans, which includes my sister and her partner.

Vergogna.

It means “shame” in Italian, and Martha-Ann Alito wants to have the words turned into a flag so that she can have something to fly next to the rainbow bow flags that express pride that she holds in the deepest contempt.

The most shocking part of the conversation begins when Martha pronounces herself a German of the particularly vicious type.

Obviously, she is speaking loosely and stupidly about collective punishment and reprisals. I’ve written about one reprisal site outside of Prague. Is this what she has in mind?

This is madness. All of it.

We must not stand for it.

This is a scandal of the highest dimensions.
