I don’t know if this will end well, probably not, but the Republican Party most certainly deserves one of history’s unmarked graves — gone, forgotten, the little cowards they were.

And Bill Cassidy voted this afternoon to make Todd Blanche AG even though Trump fucked him over and he's out of a job. I shake my head so hard and so often at the disgraceful, disgusting conduct of the republican Congress I'm afraid my head will fall off.

The hypocrisy is simply breathtaking. Cowards and quislings, one and all.

Thanks ,Steve! Listening to Steve Miller makes me so sick to my stomach. Ugh, has there ever been an uglier or more vile person? We need to get him locked up so he isn’t able to make policy ever again!

This is weird, but as I listened to Miller speak of his enemies, the enemies of MAGA, as nothing, an old grade school taunt came back to me and it actually applies to Miller and all those who castigate those opposed to Trump:

"I'm rubber; you're glue; everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you."

In their criticsms, insults, and name-calling they are describing themselves.

Immoral Fascist Republicans: No Empathy

The far right is denying the wide wealth gap and don’t give a damn for struggling Americans who have for years relied on the social safety net.

The fascist Republicans have long wanted to get rid of the “welfare state” and in 18 months they have crippled financially Americans who have been working to make ends meet but now with this new renewed attack on the low and middle class America, the billionaire reaponse is “f**k off and quit complaining”.

This kind of heartless callous response by the very wealthy against those who are less fortunate a complete lack of empathy for one's fellow citizens. These fascists are beyond embarrassment and shame and exposes their disdain for the impoverished in our county. Reagan laid out the Republican premise 40y ago with his made up “welfare queen” and now the fascists are willing to financially imperil millions of our fellow citizens.

The fascists call this a “Christian nation”. Christ said caring for the less fortunate was a core duty of faith, equating how people treat the poor, hungry, and sick with how they treat God Himself. Hitler “We tolerate no one in our ranks who attacks the ideas of Christianity. Our movement is Christian.” Adolph Hitler 1928 WE the People have the final say with our votes.

This can’t end well. Russia never recovered from Stalin and Italy and Spain have faltered. Only Germany took steps away but at a terrible price. The price has to be to the extant of the crime =. Justice 101

I believe Trump has dug two holes he can not get out. John Roberts, Mitch McConnell and so many other enablers have helped Trump cover up the disasters, personal and national, caused by his incompetence and corruption; from his role in the 1/6 insurrection to his attempt to get President Zelenskyy of Ukraine to meddle in the 2020 election to his theft of 1000's of government documents his enablers have protected him and most people forgot about them.

However, I think the war he started in Iran and the tanking economy are two disasters that neither he nor his enablers will be able to rescue him from. Cutting USAID, causing death and suffering to millions, didn't hurt Americans so most did not care. But Americans are feeling the pain caused by his war and his incredible mismanagement of the economy. They care about that and I predict the vote against Republicans will be overwhelming on 11/3.

You are probably right about the vote, but Trump will interfere with the election. It worries me because he has gotten away with so much stuff that I thought was impossible. Why not the midterm election as well?

Anthony j. Santo's avatar

I share your concern. It is justified; I just hope real patriots, in and out of government, can prevent interference from this unscrupulous, inhumane, corrupt man and his equally despicable enablers.

as inconvenient as it may be for some, vote in person. Steve said in a post he mailed his ballot in 2024 three weeks before the election and he was told it never arrived and wasn't valid. This election is too important. Show up in person if physically possible.

mary M keymer's avatar

Yes he will interfere ..no question . If there is a question it is what will the different organizations do to keep him from succeeding? Thanks Mary .

mary M keymer's avatar

All that you say is true Anthony ...and yes people might have forgot a lot of it . I remember it all .. I want him to pay for the documents in the bathroom at Mar a Lago . I don't care maybe it's a small thing but It would make me happy. I hope you are right about the overwhelming turn out against the Republicans. I don't care how the dems do it as long as they do it.

I am praying that this fat f@ck drops dead.

It’s shocking to believe but these MAGA and MAGA infected people are more dangerous than a normal American can possibly easily believe.

Remember when you were in grade school and heard stories about people who didn’t quite get out of Europe in time. Like the brilliant Walter Benjamin. Stop this while we can because Canada can’t take us all!

Sorry. I can’t listen to Stephen Miller. 😡

beverleybender@gmail.com's avatar

He is crazy. James Carver believes he will be out by April 2027. I hope it's before. The Republicans are still haven't grown a spine. They could stop him. I hope they all go to jail along with Stephen Millerl.

The speech that Stephen Miller made at the Charlie Kirk event was chilling. I was standing in front of the TV with shock and fear. I knew at that moment we were in more trouble than I could imagine. They have got to go! We cannot let these terrorists take over! They have a plan, what is ours?!

Excellent, as always Steve.

Separately, a possible scam alert - when I opened your substack, a red banner displayed informing me my credit card was soon to expire. To renew it click ‘here’. Of course I did not because my card is not about to expire, nor is my annual subscription so I submit “A Warning” that something seems amiss.

Giving validation to such warped diatribe is beyond definition.

You said the words "civil war". I've been wondering how long it would be before someone recognized that. As HCR says, the South won the last civil war. The evidence is all around.

James Friedland's avatar

Great! More evidence for the ICC after our rule of law is finished with him. Of course we are civilized and he’ll probably wind up in prison for the rest of his life with no possibility of parole but he will have many friends there.

Thanks Steve

James
