Moments ago, I heard on my local NPR affiliate that Mitch McConnel and Mike Johnson issued a joint statement that Kamala Harris needs to turn down the rhetoric. Does The Onion have a mock newscast now on NPR? Was their source Andy Borowitz? Is there an English word for this level of brass b%^&s hypocrisy? I know they think their constituents are idiots, but still...Truly, WTF?
just canceled my Wapo subscription for their failure to meet the moment. I’ll pay other journalists like Steve who speak clearly about the threat at hand.
