Trouble for Trump...and Democrats too

There is nothing wrong with being aghast at the marriage of idiocy, arrogance, appeasement and betrayal that has been packaged into self-serving justifications that maintain the best way to fight Trump is to give in to him.
Absurdism is the philosophy of the Senate Democrats.
“Maybe we can, maybe we can’t” were the idiotic words of Donald Trump aboard Air Force One today. He dropped kibble to his stenographers so that they could deliver his stupidities to the anesthetized American people, who have been put in a vice by his malice on one side and appeasement on the other.
He was speaking, of course, about his “peace deal” with Putin that the American people already oppose.
There is a new NBC poll being widely reported as being good news for Trump because it shows him at a historic high of 47 percent approval.
Let me show you how to read a poll.
Look at these numbers:
Add up the total negative numbers (51 percent; 46 per cent of whom ‘strongly disapprove’) and subtract them from the total positive numbers (47 percent).
Here are other important numbers. Look at the ‘very negative’ sentiment’ for each:
Donald Trump:

Elon Musk:
What these numbers show is weakness and vulnerability, but there is an enormous problem.
The American people despise the Washington, DC, Democratic Party of Biden/Schumer/Clyburn:
In fact, they are only slightly less unpopular than Russia and Putin in America:
There are no words other than HELP! for the American people, who are threatened by Trump, and held hostage by the Schumercrats.
Look at these numbers below.
Inside the polling there is big trouble for Donald Trump. He is failing on the economy, and his handling of foreign policy 56 days in:
The American people do not approve across the board with the exception of immigration, and yet, there is no organized opposition.
Trump knows that he has swallowed the Republican Party, intimidated the corporate media and crushed the feeble Washington, DC, Democrats.
Chuck Schumer surrendered any ability to stop Trump for at least six months. The reality is that Donald Trump will become exponentially more aggressive as this period of maximum power nears its first test in November of 2026.
What the NBC poll makes clear is that the political opposition to MAGA, DOGE and Trump will not be DC-based.
It will not be seen in advance by DC reporters and DC newsletters who serve lobbyists, Bitcoin hustlers, crypto scammers, tech bros and gals, opportunists and careerists.
A wave is already building. It is rising, and it will not be contained.
The American people have become hostage to exactly what George Washington warned us about.
I wish there was an American party.
I suppose if we had one — or even half of one — then none of this ever would have happened in the first place.
Unless and until there is an awakening of fighting Democrats in Washington, DC, who can take control of their conference from the feeble Schumer, then America will breathe with Trump’s knife on our carotid artery.
I have praised
a great deal in recent weeks. He deserves it, but it is also true that he is being praised on a curve.The simple truth is that it was a senator of the French Republic who spoke first and most clearly about Nero on the Potomac.
Chris Murphy should appreciate that before he can face Trump he must face Schumer.
Perhaps he should binge watch “Band of Brothers,” and appreciate that Schumer is Lieutenant Dike, and Foy lies ahead.
This awfulness cannot stand, and it must not.
The threat we face is Trump.
The impediment to facing the threat is Washington Democrats.
They would rather let Schumer continue as leader, and ignore the problem like each and every one of them played a part in helping Dr. Jill and her clique gaslight the country about Biden, the border and the economy until the American people delivered a rebuke wrapped in stink named Trump.
The American people decided that the Democrats were so dishonest that they chose Trump over them.
It is the greatest political failure in American history. One hundred and thirty-two days after the election of Donald Trump and 56 days after his inauguration that should be settling in.
The Democratic Party’s plan of doing nothing, supporting Trump’s cabinet and opposing nothing has failed.
No Chuck, you are not “winning.” You are the wind beneath Trump’s wings.
It’s time to retire.

How are we going to make uninformed Americans aware that DOGE was not formed to save them money by making the government more efficient, but to cut benefits and entitlements, including Social Security, to the vast majority of Americans in order to provide the wealthiest among us with tax cuts? This is a corrupt plan, based on lies, aiming to destroy SS by causing it to fail; then claiming it is essential to privatize SS. Employees' contributions to SS are matched by their employers. We should care enough about the disabled, widowed, and others in need to gladly help them and their children lead safe, secure, and healthy lives.
