It’s a joy to see and know that such a warrior for democracy has a heart of gold. Cuddle that precious Mabel and know how much I appreciate and support all you are doing.

Steve so heartbreaking. On top of so much that is heartbreaking in our country!! I lost a dear friend this week and another friend said that it is sad that “grief is the cost of love” sometimes. Thinking of you!!

Steve, my condolences go out to you and your family for the heartbreaking loss of your special friend Tucker. I am a 75-year-old male and have had dogs my whole life. I currently have an eight year-old German Shepherd named Jackson

I want to take this opportunity to thank you so much for being such a strong voice at a much-needed time.

There are not many voices out there like yours, and I have been very disappointed in the press in the past year.

Thank you Steve and keep going with the fight for our democracy.

40 years of stewarding 9 dogs over 30 years doesn't diminish your sadness with each loss. I know where you are with this. For the love of Dogs....

It’s good you have another dog to hug. When my dog dies, I wait a week then I adopt another. We only have one dog at a time and it’s just too painful having that happy being gone from our lives. It’s not disrespectful to give another a caring home as soon as you’re ready to welcome him or her.

My condolences on Tucker's passing. As another dog lover/companion, know that you and your family were blessed to have been in Tucker's life. I hope he meets up with my Tessy, Max, Lily, Shaheen, Sid and Sheeba once he crosses the rainbow bridge.

Animals are such a gift. They were my best teachers. Neglected and abused since age 2 ( when i was dumped at an e.r and put in a bubble for 6 months because neglect led to raging staff infection) i was literally blessed to have been raised by them. ( when i wasnt locked in a 2nd story attic in s. Florida) They are unconditional love, just, fair, protectors, teachers. They teach play, heirarchy, they fight to protect their own. I was so lucky to have them. Im an animal communicator, as we as a gifted " seer" and I promise you all that loss wont go away but you will see them again. I can hardly wait to fall in love with all of them again.

Mabel is the sweetest puppy ever. As soon as you can, please love her enough to get a companion for her; she needs a playmate as well as a Dad for cuddling. And that picture is worth a million words, btw. 🥰
