Many years ago, I was a member of the Teamsters Union. If one of our members was treated unfairly or worse, fired without justification, we would shut the company down. Period. Nobody would cross the picket line, until a satisfactory resolution was reached.
Meanwhile, in present day America, thousands are being illegally and immorally terminated from their jobs. Thousands of immigrants are being deported from the country that they hoped would provide refuge from other tyrannical governments around the world. And the defenders of democracy, who are slightly outnumbered in Congress and the Senate, are for the most part, succumbing to hopelessness.
Yes it will take many deep breaths to get through the injustices of the coming days, but when we exhale, we must bellow at the top of our collective lungs, until our foes are deafened into submission.
May our grandchildren read accurate history books, telling how GOD and We The People damned them all for their acquiescence and treason.
I myself, wonder why trump, musk et all haven't been forcibly stopped and held to account for their blatant recent crimes. I'm sure I am in the majority in this thinking.
But I am still flabbergasted that trump - I refuse to capitalize names that do not garner respect- slithered through the Mueller Inquiry, two impeachment attempts and a multitude of personal criminal charges, including many with guilty verdicts and massive financial penalties. I seriously doubt he has contributed to the latter. He should have been in prison long ago and had no chance at a second term. But here we are in earthly Hell.
It is common knowledge, that almost all republican politicians are terrified of opposing mango mussolini. Some of them fear for their safety, while others selfishly want to preserve their careers. I would bet that trump has collected defamatory evidence of wrongful or illegal behaviour on many of those that bend the knee, despite them knowing their capitulation could end US democracy.
With the present onslaught of informational breeches being perpetrated, I believe trump has taken a page from Hoover's playbook, and is compiling unflattering dossiers on many of his Democrat opponents. Perhaps there are insider trading incidents apparent or other legally or ethical improprieties, that he now has evidence of, to hold over their heads. Or in the case of the few righteous representatives, trump has personal information to pass on to his malignant militias, which would threaten them and their loved ones.
I think the not so supreme court's biases in favour of trump are clearly evident, and they cannot be counted on to be the last bastion of defence against this malignant administration. trump is an aggresive cancer in the fourth stages.
Illinois Governor J.D. Pritzker's recently stated, "It took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours and forty minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic." These are great words to demonstrate just how quickly we are seeing our own democracy being overthrown by the diabolically treasonous forces in play.
Pritzker added, "Tyranny requires your fear and silence and compliance. Democracy requires your courage."
The assault is well underway and gaining momentum. Freedom's doomsday clock is ticking fast.
