The opening ceremony for the Obama Presidential was the one bright light this week, I agree. I was glad to see GWB in attendance, but still question his silence as to the dark path his party has taken these last ten years or more. Monday’s post is truly frightening when I think about how easily drone warfare is accessible and in the wrong hands would be devastating to any nation. For once, I am glad the U.S. is not leading the world…given what they have done with ICE. We don’t need another Kent State on steroids. Do we think any of the McConnells and McCarthys of his first term who failed to remove that 💩 stain from office for treason and sedition have any buyers’ remorse yet? Probably not. I don’t believe religion, but if I am wrong and land in Hell, I want to be head greeter on the welcome wagon.🔥

How does a liar as ignorant, corrupt, and narcissistic as Trump remain in office? Three examples of his character, evidence that he puts himself first, ahead of his country and any other person:
1) "David Hearn had just finished a loop around Hains Point on Friday as part of a 52-mile bike ride when he swung by the Lincoln Memorial to see the refurbished Reflecting Pool for himself. Noticing a piece of the new 'American flag blue' liner that was partially detached from the pool bottom, Hearn said he reached into the water to see what it felt like. Moments later, as the Bethesda man prepared to leave, U.S. Park Police officers arrested him on a misdemeanor charge of destruction of government property.
Hearn’s arrest ignited a social media flurry as President Donald Trump and his allies blamed the pool overhaul’s problems on administration opponents. Emily Miller, a conservative journalist, posted a 2 minute and 8 second video on X, which showed Hearn detained by two members of the National Guard and subsequently surrounded by Park Police officers. Obviously, Trump, a pathological liar is looking for a scapegoat and innocence isn't part of his consideration; remember the Central Park Five.
2) President Trump denied that the Iran war revealed the limits of his ability to exert power, telling “The Axios Show” he still believes there are “no limits.” Trump entered the war demanding “unconditional surrender.” He ended it with a limited memorandum of understanding instead.
Trump acknowledged to Axios’ Marc Caputo that he’d negotiated that deal to keep the war from turning into a global economic depression. Still, Trump denied he was in any way humbled by that experience. Asked what he’d learned from the war about the limits to his power, he said: “There are no limits.”

3) "The wealthy owner of a nearly century-old bridge connecting Michigan and Ontario gave $1 million US to a Trump-aligned political action committee (PAC) less than a month before the U.S. president unleashed an online tirade against a new, competing bridge, records show.
Matthew Moroun, whose family has owned the Ambassador Bridge for decades, made the million-dollar contribution to MAGA Inc. on Jan. 16, according to a campaign finance disclosure the super PAC filed Friday evening. The donation was first reported by the New York Times.
Neither Moroun nor MAGA Inc. responded to interview requests.
Since the newly constructed Gordie Howe bridge is being kept closed by Trump there are huge traffic jams causing problems for American and Canadian businesses and citizens. Of course, the grotesquerie in the WH is lying about why he is keeping the bridge closed:
"Carney told reporters that he explained to Trump in a call on Tuesday that 'in the construction of the bridge obviously there’s Canadian steel, Canadian workers, but also US steel, US workers that were involved.' And Ford told reporters: 'Seventy-five percent, yes, were Canadian steel and concrete, because we’re paying for it; 25% was US steel and concrete. Then the interchange going on from the Michigan side, it was all American workers, all American steel, all American concrete.
