This is not a choice between Republicans and Democrats
Donald Trump, costumed in an apron, leaned out of a McDonald’s drive-thru window, and renewed his threat against the United States with his chilling reminder that it is only a fair election if he wins.
The McDonald’s stunt capped a weekend of madness, vulgarity, threats, incoherence and idiocy that don’t seem to matter to a vast population of Americans who will vote to give Donald Trump the power to end human civilization. Nothing he does, says, threatens or promises matters to them. Nothing. The die is cast, and the only regret they will ever have is over the catastrophe that will inevitably follow should Trump win — and by then, as is always the case, they will simply deny knowing anything about everything. Ignorance is always the best defense when the time comes as it always does to ask, “How?” “How did this happen?”
What is most incredible is the absolute inability of America’s political media to report accurately about Trump’s use of rhetoric that is identical to the language used by Hitler, Goebbels, Goering, Stalin, Mussolini, and every other fascist charlatan who has ever promised they alone could fix it. Their allergy to reality has muddled the nature of what is bearing down the tracks heading our way.
Donald Trump simply doesn’t share an American faith. He doesn’t believe in tolerance, dissent, elections, free speech and the right of the American people to choose their leaders. He stands opposed to the principles of the American Revolution and the US Constitution. Trump is the man whom the founders knew would rise one day, and he has told us with perfect clarity exactly who he is.
This past weekend, the man who calls January 6 a perfect “day of love” demonstrated he is no longer functional in very meaningful ways. He ranges from exhausted to demented, to threatening to profane, in a performance that shines a spotlight on his obvious infirmities, but again, none of that matters. There is no one to persuade.
There is a threat at hand, and Kamala Harris must lead the country through it. Donald Trump is the only issue in the race. The focus of the race must be his incoherence, incompetence and malice.
Every single second of every day must lay out a very simple choice. It’s not a choice between Republicans and Democrats. It’s a choice between America and Trump.
There are millions of Americans who are not Democrats, and never will be. They know that they can’t vote for Trump, and they can’t vote for Harris either. Fine — then don’t vote.
Voting for Donald Trump is a shameful act, and it repudiates the sacrifices of generations of Americans who died opposing precisely what Trump is preaching. A refusal to endorse Trump by refusing to vote is noble if you are a principled Republican who mourns your lost party and disdain the fascist who hijacked it.
A great coalition must come together in the next 15 days to stop a terrible movement, or we will pay a terrible price. It is as simple as that. The outcome is not yet decided, and in the places where it matters most, every vote truly does count.

Trump is leading in the polls. His supporters are flocking to vote for his “authenticity”. Elon Musk is handing out a million dollars per day to Trump voters(and no legal action has been taken to stop it). Our Republic is being taken over by fascists and goons. A vote for Harris is a vote for sanity. Please do that, today.
Well, I guess I won't be going to McDonald's ever again. No big loss: we have lots of better burger places.
