What an excellent interview with Mayor Jacob Frey. He clearly loves his city and has done right by the people there. When I first heard him speak months ago, I thought I detected a little East Coast "chutzpah" in his tenor and demeanor. And today we learned that he did grow up here on the East coast, but boy does he love his city of Minneapolis. Thanks Steve and Ken for hosting.

I also thought this was an excellent interview with the Mayor. His remarks were sound and pragmatic. I've been looking to learn the truth of this fraud allegation, perhaps in the wrong places because I've not learned what I set out to learn. This fraud being blamed on the entire Somali community in Minneapolis looks like gaslighting bullshit. Now I can understand that one, two maybe three individuals could have perpetrated that fraud, and this regime being the racist morons that they are deciding to blame the whole community. Actually I read or heard where a very few by lying, set up many from this community to believe they were entitled to benefits they may have not been entitled to. But it ends there, I still find myself not knowing the truth of what happened. It seemed to me that the Mayor was unable for whatever reason to clarify more on this topic. An ongoing investigation would make sense I suppose. All I know is a good man looking after his city is himself being gaslighted and a portion of his community is baring the brunt of something that is not their fault. That last part is me speculating. As I see clearly Mayor Frey is the Mayor every city ought to have.

On a different note, this conversation really made an impression on me. Perhaps these two can be on a Substack live with SAM, The Warning or The Ken Harbaugh Show. Perhaps all of you!

Totally excellent conversation. Includes many thoughts on the resistance we will continue to apply as the Ice Goons travel hither and yon. Especially noted the awareness we all need to prevent empty warehouses being turned into ‘detention’ facilities—legally, economically, and ecologically.

Thank you for this interview. I’m happy to say I voted for Mayor Frey when I lived in Minneapolis and now reside outside the city where I rally against Emmer on a routine basis. He is clearly the worst of Minnesota and I’m glad you called him out. His hate-spewing has rendered himself a sellout, hollow and small.

Cruelty has no limits. Now we are dragged into the cruelty of war as well as becoming the latest four star jailer of physically unprotected residents. We are so good at what we do, hopefully more of us spend time examining What it is we’re doing.
