We have Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, two people who stand up for others. It’s a state with people who came to America from all over the world, and where our governor, Mikie Sherrill, is a Navy veteran who hates to have immigrants imprisoned in Delaney Hall. We have two Senators who fight for us, Cory Booker and Andy Kim, and we support our federal government even if some red states see us as a blue state cash machine. People may make fun of us, but they are quite happy to take our money. We voted against Donald Trump twice. That’s good enough for me.
Went to a Juneteenth event yesterday and found myself saying to a total stranger “Aren’t we glad we live in NJ!” (Lots of history, crafts, kids, music, and smiles!)
We can take a small amount of comfort at this point in time (That's now) in knowing we can raise our middle fingers toward Mir-a-Lago and the gilded oval orifice any time we want!!!

I, too, sat for 2 hours last Friday on I79 near Wexford PA while 3 lanes of traffic were forced into one and we all had to get off the interstate to exit and the big semis then got back on going south. Not a stitch of work was being done on the highway at that time (10 pm). I feel your pain and, I too, used rather colorful language as I crawled along. This is so typical PA summer construction which doesn't give a flying fxxk about us citizens who have to traverse the frickin highways. The orange orangutan has never had to experience this phenomenon!! I agree wholeheartedly with your closing sentiment.
