The day of the great Trump appeasement
When Neville Chamberlin returned to London after appeasing Hitler in Munich this is what Winston Churchill said:
You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor and you will have war.
Yesterday, in Anchorage, Alaska, Donald Trump wobbled down the red carpet like it was a flat red slalom course. His ankles swollen, suit jacket open, clapping his hands, waiting to receive the Russian war criminal with the enthusiasms he once reserved for teenage beauty pageants.
The Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Anchorage wearing a CCCP sweatshirt under his Tech-bro vest.
The message is clear.
The bear is hungry. He’s coming to a Baltic nation very soon before moving on to Poland.
America’s sick president has created a police state, deployed the military against America’s cities, attacked dissent, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and freedom of religion, while committing acts of corruption that have no precedent in American history.
He has trampled on the rights of US citizens, pardoned insurrectionist criminals, wrecked the economy, and weakened the western alliance of free nations. Yet all of that pales in comparison to what the incompetent Donald did in Alaska.
He started World War III.
My children will know war because of MAGA. Europe’s cities will burn.
The die is cast.
More than anything, it is the indecency and immorality of the spectacle in Anchorage that stands out.
The Russian dictator and murderer who sent an army of rapists and killers to desecrate Ukraine was warmly welcomed by an American president on American soil — which I read somewhere is “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
Friday, August 16, 2025, was a day of infamy and national disgrace.
The president of the United States is an incoherent buffoon, a first-rate bully and an irredeemable liar, whose “best friend” was the most notorious pedophile of the 21st century in the United States.
He is an imbecile and a supernova of ignorance, but also a first-rate fascist. In the end, this is all that matters.
The United States is descending into an abyss.
What was said could not happen in America is happening.
Trump is growing more unpopular by the day, but more powerful by the hour.
Tyrannies are not built on popularity, but rather control. The Trump regime has taken control of many an addled American mind.
In the end, we are witnesses to a mob come to power that tried to burn down American democracy by attacking the US Capitol and thousands of police officers.
Now, the Trump regime labels a man who tosses a Subway sandwich at a federal agent directing traffic a felon.
Some observers say nothing happened in Alaska. They could not be more wrong.
It was the day America gave up.
It was the day that MAGA ceded control of the world to the worst enemy of freedom and liberty to emerge in 80 years’ time.
It was the day of the great Trump appeasement.
Maybe one day there will be an opera about it at the Melania Opera House. I hear sound travels well in ‘Deep Throat Hall.’

It wasn’t a surprise. The Federal Government of the United States is a Russian Asset — either with purposeful devotion or unmitigated stupidity.
Honestly, shocked...I did not even think WW3...but this does feel like a real possibility. I remember when my reserve unit was called to Iraq...we all believed Powell and weapons of mass destruction...then reality set in, thousands already dead and more to come, and years of ceaseless war against....WHAT, exactly? It was the Saudi's who hit the Twin Towers in NYC...stupid republican men, warmongers....
