Today, Kari Lake is simply a conspiracy theorist and certified liar who jumped from the local news chair to the fame and adulation of MAGA stardom. She is the Republican nominee for governor of Arizona. If she is elected, she will become a central player in an ongoing conspiracy to topple American democracy by refusing to accept the decisions of the American people. She has all but pledged to assault the integrity of the next presidential election by disputing the results if her choice is rejected:
It is a recipe for violence, mayhem and chaos, which is precisely the cause and purpose of her candidacy. It deserves direct confrontation and repudiation.
What precisely did the Washington, DC, cowards who appeased Donald Trump’s insanity and malice think would happen when 40 per cent of the country found affinity with a lie about the stolen election, and thus affection for the poisonous concept that they lived under an illegal occupation by an illegal “regime.”
