“Shit people.”
JD Vance has been affronted.
Peter Thiel’s Silicon Valley Yale-billy boy-toy VP did not like being confronted by a score of Ukrainian Americans in Cincinnati who object to the Russian rape of Ukraine and the kidnapping of tens of thousands of children, who have been shipped east into Russia.
Here is how Bloomberg describes the reaction in Ukraine to Trump and Vance’s staged Oval Office shakedown and humiliation of the democratically elected sovereign nation that has been attacked by Putin’s Russia in an existential war for survival:
Ukraine is reeling from the abrupt US switch under President Donald Trump, from the staunchest of allies to what some now see as an appeaser of Moscow. Foreign diplomats in the capital were struggling to keep up: a deal to hand the US control over natural resources became a public quarrel in the White House and then the withdrawal of American support…
The US shift is as calamitous for Ukraine as it is shocking for European allies who scrambled to try and fill the void…
Ukrainians have been on the ropes before. At the war’s outbreak, Western allies gave them three days to hold out against the invasion, when Russian forces came very close to the capital, shelling buildings and the Kyiv TV tower. They subsequently faced issues over the delivery of US Javelin anti-tank missiles. US military aid was delayed for six months into last year when it was held up in Congress.
But few were expecting their allies to add to the challenge, and they know the net is closing, the path forward precarious.
Ukraine is already feeling the screws tightening due to the Trump administration’s onslaught. From spare parts to people, “our army has shortages of everything,” according to Pavlo Narozhnyy, founder of Reactive Post, which provides the military with spare parts.
What happened in the Oval Office was the most debased moment that has ever occurred in the White House between an American president and a foreign leader.
It was a moment of American shame. Staggeringly, it can be justly compared to the infamous meeting Austrian PM Kurt Schuschnigg had in 1938 with Adolf Hitler and his henchmen in the Berghof.
Trump and Vance conducted themselves almost precisely as Hitler did when he accosted Schuschnigg, and demanded that Austria be surrendered and annexed to the Nazi Reich.
Think about that.
Senator Claude Malhuret of the French Republic described the events this way:
Washington has become the court of Nero, an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers, and a jester high on ketamine in charge of purging the civil service. This is a tragedy for the free world, but it is first and foremost a tragedy for the United States.
Perhaps this is the reason JD Vance is facing protestors:
JD Vance called the protestors “shit people” on X because, according to Vance, his three-year-old was the target of the protestors, which, par for the course, was a lie.
There can be little doubt that when the words “shit people” flashed across his frontal lobe as the thing to say, his subconscious made an immediate connection and reminded him that there are more “shit people” gathered on X than almost anywhere. As a result, he ran to Musk’s sewer, and blurted out his grievances and lamented his victimization for all the world to laugh.
The subject of the protests was the obnoxious cretin who has embarrassed the United States with his unctuous young Orban imitation. He has made himself party to a historic betrayal that is already killing Ukrainians.
The United States under the Trump/Musk/Vance regime has cut off weapons, intelligence and support, while Russia and Putin have increased their aggression and ballistic missile attacks.
Though dishonest for JD Vance to claim his toddler was the subject of the protest, it is refreshing to see him stand up for one of his children. Though I am not Mirabel’s dad, I am a dad, and dads should stick up for their kids, which is why JD should be mildly commended.
After all, when Elon Musk’s DOGE lieutenant named Marko Elez posted vile, hateful, bigoted slurs against Indians, it was JD Vance who came to his rescue:
Vance demanded that Marko Elez, who had resigned in disgrace, be restored to duty in the White House, where he can practice his hatreds and abuse powers he has no right to exercise whatsoever under the US Constitution or American law.
JD Vance defended the hatred of a man towards his own flesh and blood. This seems to be an initiation rite for MAGA courtiers of the highest echelon. Ted Cruz happily let Trump call his wife ugly and crazy, while his father was smeared as a presidential assassin.
JD raised the ante on Cruz.
Maybe this is why JD is the VP.
All he had to do was be ready to serve as an apologist for the bigotry of a man who denies the basic humanity of his children and wife.
Now, he has jumped into the saddle of his hypocritical high horse to pretend that the protestors were really just bad people indiscriminately and abusively targeting his three-year-old daughter.
“Houston, we have a massive self-awareness problem in Cincinnati.”
I wonder if Mirabel developed any grey hair from the experience.
Again, from Bloomberg:
Doctors [in Ukraine] report children as young as 10 with grey hair.
Speaking of “shit people” since JD Vance brought it up, let’s take a closer look at the level of fecal matter polluting the American government and White House.
“Shit people.” It is an interesting choice of words for a vice president who only recently suggested beaten women should stay married to their abusers to keep the family strong, and ran a fraudulent opioid charity that preyed on the people who were devastated by Purdue Pharma.
Does FBI Director Kash Patel count as a “shit person” given his enemies lists, threats and grift?
What about Kristi Noem, who shot her dog?
What about Corey Lewandowski, the serial groper and assaulter?
What about the 1,500 criminal scumbags that Trump pardoned after attacking the Capitol?
What about Marco Rubio, who cut off life-saving aid for millions of people around the world?
What about Pete Hegseth, who drunkenly shouted “Kill all Muslims!” from atop a table at a bar?
Do any of them count as “shit people?”
Donald Trump seems to be passing on his proclivities for projection to his unctuous young apprentice.
While it is true that there are “shit people” in America, they were most certainly not protesting JD Vance in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Should JD like the opportunity to view some “shit people” all he needs to do is look up and around at work every day. In fact, in every US government office around the world there hangs two portraits — one of our “shit” president and one of our “shit” vice president — who, by any reasonable measure, are the gold and bronze winners of the “Shit Award.” The silver goes to the Nazi Elon Musk.
Do not be afraid of these people.
Shit stinks, but it can be washed away.
hmmm...the VP and daughter were out and about without the Secret Service? Seems unlikely.
Shit people are in the White House
